That is a good mark to fish but in in the summer months it's so much better. There is another mark further on, just go through the second gate and walk about a 100 yards and go straight down on the rocks. There's a strong current there and deep water and it produces some big pollack and massive wrasse. The walk down though is steep just the same as the one you've just fished though.
Well it's weird that what happened to John's rig my dad had same last weekend on the Humber rig come back with no hooks, it was a mitten crab we think as I brought one in and my hook length had kinks all near the knot where it was destroying my bait, big up n tight lines chaps another banger once again love a happy hooker session
