That's how every father should be. The monetization of fatherhood isn't important but love is. Every child needs a mother and father. To learn how to be a man and treat a woman. With that the cycle continues. Blame democrats for the lack of black fathers. I'm not just blaming the men, the women are hoes who keep the children as a tool and a weapon to hurt some fathers who genuinely love their children.
I don't think i'll ever have kids, i have somewhat of a doomer mindset, i honestly wouldn't want to produce offspring with what the world's coming to, but that's not gonna stop me from being the best uncle, if my siblings choose to have kids
My dad passed away when I was 15 years old. The last thing he said to me was " I believe I raised you to be man enough for me to go home!" He died that night in his sleep. That was the greatest gift he ever gave me and I can't thank him enough for that. I love and miss you dad and I'll see you again someday!!

Me to man.. my dad denied I was his while mom was pregnant with me. He didn't even meet me until I was 18 and the only reason he did was try to get my consent to waive ALL of the child support that he still owed over 18 yrs. that he avoided paying. This hits different seeing this

My dad is an alcoholic and drug abuser, I hold nothing against him and still call him dad every 5-7 years that I see him. I just wish there was more men like this father. True inspiration for all us in life and I’m proud of his son as well.

Their goal was to keep black mothers single and on assistance, literally incentivizing NOT having the father in the home by paying out money to do so. They basically weaponized government assistance to completely tear down the black community and look how well it's still working, Chicago, St Louis, Memphis, New York, LA, Minnesota, Philly, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Houston, the crime rates are incredibly high and the murder rates are out of control.

Actually, my Mom was more concerned with how the world viewed her as "the perfect Mom" than showing real love toward her kids. My reply to my Mom was, "It would be nice to hear 'I Love You' once in a while." She still didn't say, "I Love You", & never did her whole entire life. The last words Mom said to me were, "I'm glad you moved back home (after my Father died); it was nice to have you home again." And still, she never said, "I Love You." My Father never said it either.

He's blessed, and he knows it. There's nothing wrong with being good to your kids like that. My parents have done the same for me. He knows as well as I do the value of money. He understands that didn't come from nothing. Teach your kids that, and they'll be grateful always.
My dad didn't even go to my graduation. To hear a dad say "you've been a blessing to me and your mama your whole life" "we got you" literally heals me and gives me hope for my future children
That is a great man that I know from this video raised an amazing kid! The son was proud to get the car and all the words his dad said hit deep. But that is also a man that saved while his son was in school doing the right things so he could gift the reward after the work was done. My mother and father were and are drug addicts and my mom was a prostitute my dad is abusive. I wasn't even potty train when it was time to start school I could even hardly talk. I've been knocked out multiple times when I was a kid. Woke up with nobody around. Undiagnosed concussions aplenty I would imagine all before I was 10. Around that age I went to live with my grandmother. When I turn 25 I went to find my birth parents. They haven't changed. Never will. Going to find them was the biggest mistake of my life I knew better and did it anyway so it was not dumb it was just plain stupid. Anyone who has parents who love them should be very thankful.

I've come across some sh!t parents many times when I patrolled. I was always thankful that I had two good parents though my dad got killed in a car accident when I was 13 but I was blessed that I had him for those 13 years. I felt so sorry for those kids and many times I had to get DHR involved but when I could talk to the teenagers and the circumstances were right I would tell them that they can't change their parents that they are set in their ways that some people just don't know how to be a good parent but i would tell the teen to remember how they feel (right now) and remember that you will never let your child feel that way ever. That you will never be the parent that your parent is. I would like to think that maybe in the 20 years that I was on the road my words may have broke the cycle for atleast one child.
I left out the part about me being schizophrenic probably due to drugs my mother used while I was in term and blows to the head I don't know if they even know what causes it. My little brother when he was 4. His head cracked open with a piece of wood by our dad and he has to wear a helmet for the rest of his life. He has been wearing that helmet for about 30 years now.

Growing up, going to school, going the tough teenage years, sometimes feeling stuck under your parents thumbs and making it through to graduate is very hard. I can feel your parents pride in you.
