Dada Video about the history of the Dada art movement screened in the "Dada on Tour" tent at Art Stage Singapore 2016. Organized by Bruno Art Group in collaboration with Cabaret Voltaire & Art Stage Singapore 2016.
Three proposition of dada by Hugo Ball 1. How does one achieve eternal bliss? by saying dada 2. How does one become famous? by saying dada 3. With noble gesture and delicate propriety, till one goes crazy, till one loses consciousness. Thanks for the great video. Its a real food for thought. Love from Bangladesh
I dont mean to be off topic but does someone know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
Would you include Pedophilia and violent sacrificial symbolism under the umbrella of freedom? Da Da is occultism, and Luciferianism. "DO WHAT THOU WILT"
People read Friedrich Glauser his writings about "Dada", he was describing very nicely the beginning of this nonsense, since he was there with Ball and Tzara right from the moment Tzara said the word Dada (yes, yes in Russian and other Slavic languages) and then made a whole movement out of it . Glauser actually also really understood what Dada was all about. He is by the way that fifth guy who's name you did not find out, because he wasn't named on the Photograph..It could only spread all over the globe because of the crazy times of world war. In reality some guy, Tzara just wanted to create a new artform to make himself important and many idiots followed, there is nothing deep and meaningful about it in its creation, quite the opposite: some Snobs with enough money could pay a soirée in Cabaret Voltaire and that's how it started getting publicly known. Very typical for Switzerland, if you must pay a lot it means its worth something, they never did take art seriously, the easier and dumper it gets, the less the "artist" would have to work or sacrifice for it, the more they celebrate it, till nowadays. Maybe some people started giving meaning to Dada afterwords, but this documentary is just not compleatly precise... A little citing from Glausers text: Tzara was dreaming about fame. "Dadaismus", said he, "sounds better than Futurism. And the public is so stupid." He did not yet take himself that serious then.
This is a short but funky piece of music, sampling Kurt Scwitters Ursonate. I hope you enjoy listening to it: soundcloud.com/esimmonds/collecting-kurts-giro
its funny to hear in former times Switzerland was a haven for artists and intellectuals. Nowadays if you are this sort of human in Switzerland you gotta go search for a haven in order to survive society😂
Pretty flat presentation, particularly when stacked up against Helmut Herbst's "Germany Dada - An Alphabet of German Dadaism", a 1968 experimental film filmed in a pure-Dada spirit. That one's the ticket.
That is one reason of many reasons why Hitler was frustrated. He wanted change. Promised order again. History repeats itself: World is chaos. Food and rivers is poisoned. Greed spreads and deprives. What do people do? 13:39 Play RU-vid Poop.
Dada Art Movement History - "Dada on Tour" 1923pm 14.8.23 well there you go revising more hackneyed boredom... they offended the pig man.. now he could have been anyone...a mollusc, even. i found it amusing and even found surrealism amusing. and, obviously, didnt understand it. which is fine by me, sir. and them, to be perfectly frank. bravo!!! a stone in the face of the cloud. i can hear those egg shells cracking as he tries to tip toe about the sensibilities of others. which is astounding as he didn't give a shit before... can we laugh with dada? if you have a time machine... then, yes. other wise it's a get out clause for shirt art.... "i meant it to look like that....." "he didnt mean shit art at all.."
Andy Warhole tried to recreate a form of dada with tins of soup and other shite, its basically phony art and with certain phony artist being what they are, it ends up being a case of the Emperor has got no clothes, so it festers for while.
