What I respect about Quan, he’s a young father and so mature already. He’s READY!!! Rissa is an amazing woman and they compliment each other so well. I admire Riss & Quan. May God bless them with a beautiful marriage when the times comes and they grow stronger in their union.

Right because im pregnant with my first angel and his dad has just walked away which is actually a blessing in disguise. If I didnt have God and my fam I dont know what I would do. Its sad but I know we will be ok. I know God will send us someone in due time who will love me and love my little angel as his own. I was really embarrassed at first that I didnt even want a baby shower but after talking with fam they said its ok there are plenty of single parents and that I shouldn't be embarrassed because I am doing my part and that's all I can do. Now im having a shower next month since my angel is due Feb 23. I have always wanted to be a mom and even though it didnt happen the way I planned im blessed to even be carrying a baby right now!! When I think about it im glad I didnt let him rob me of my experiences that come with carrying a precious little life inside of me. Sometimes I worry especially because my job is ending soon but again im just putting it in God's hands. Im proud of you mama and I know everything will work out for you!!

It will hurt at times when you think about ur child and how they will feel about the dad not being around. But better to have only the ones who truly want to be there and not the ones who don’t care. I give him a 10 because although he took his time he did everything he needed to do and didn’t miss a step. Bbyboy even fell asleep so that alone shows Shine was comfortable during his bath time which is exactly how you want your bby to be. Great job Quan!!! Your a great father & Rissa is a great mother

My daughters dad NEVER did bath time at the newborn stage. You did AMAZING. 10/10. Forget speed! Shine enjoyed it so much he almost fell asleep, plus it’s a good bonding experience! Take all the time you want. One day he’s going to be too big to let you bathe him. Soak it all up! 🥰

Quan looks like a natural! Great dad! You both are magnificent first time parents! Note to both: Be careful bathing him too much it can eventually dry out his delicate skin. This is from a grandmother 9 times. Love all three of you! SHINE, SHINE, SHINE!

Yes bathing too much can dry out the skin. Especially twice daily, a babies skin is too delicate for that. I bath my little boy each night for routine but only use soap every other night to prevent his skin from drying out.

No. Not too much bathing. Wash up in the morning and a bath at night. Their skin is very delicate and it can get too dry with too much bathing. Quan did a awesome job. I am so happy to see a young dad bonding with his child.

Yoooo! There were so many moments in this video that made me SMILE! 1. How much rissa is out here GLOWING ! After having a baby it’s hard to feel pretty let alone to look it and honeyyyyy YOU ARE SHININ 😍 2. When she told quan how seeing him be a daddy is a different type of turn on. Again it’s hard to tap back in with yourself after birth and sometimes it puts a strain on your relationship but y’all make it look like magic. 3. Is just listening to quan talk to shine! Seeing a black man be a father is EVERYTHING! He is just too perfect! So beautiful! I have 3 daughters but can no longer have kids but I believe in miracles … I pray everyday for God to bless me with a son. This is too cute. I wouldn't recommend bathing twice a day though. Their skin is still very sensitive and can dry easily. But Quan really does make the dad life look so cute!

Actually you can bath twice a day as long as your using lotion afterwards and you use a moisturizing body wash like an oat meal and shea butter one

@@CanadaPorter18 Yeah it’s too often it’s recommended that you only wash a baby about 3 times a week because they’re skin is more sensitive and can dry out. Keeping there bottom clean is different but bathing them everyday is too much.

Here’s a Tip: Do his back first while he’s awake. He will enjoy that better. Also, the white noise of the water running is what puts him to sleep + when you wash his head. GREAT JOB MOMMY AND DADDY!!!

Hey guys!! I’m a NICU nurse I really enjoy watching you all I do want to give a suggestion to not bathe him everyday or twice a day. It will dry out his skin in the future regardless of the lotion you apply afterwards. Bathing once every three days is more ideal for newborns! Love you guys channel. Very beautiful family(:

I was going to mention that as well. My son has to get doubled up with lotion 3 times a day because his skin is so dry . My first two didn’t go through this I only bathe them once a week but wipe them down daily

That's not true, maybe when you use lotions, for us here we use powder and we bathe three times a day but the skin doesn't dry,am a mum of four, one boy and three girls,we use lotions at one year, love you all

Sooooo cute! Just a little tip though, bathtime twice a day is a lot for a new born. His skin is very sensitive and this might dry out his skin especially in winter time! I think once a day is more than enough and wil help you avoid any rashes or dry skin!

Give yourself more credit, you did an amazing job like Rissa said!! 2 tips for you guys. Tip 1, for slippage and warmth use a receiving blanket when bathing him it works wonders. Tip 2, wash him completely then take him out and swaddle him with his towel then wash his hair while holding him like a little football. FYI I'm seasoned with 2 kids of my own 25 and 16. I've babysat from the age of 13 til now so I've learned some tricks. Great job guys, keep up the good teamwork 👏🏾 🥰💞🙏🏾

First of all Shine’s close up had me he is so adorable. 7/10? 10/10 is more like it. You made sure the water temp was right you held him with confidence and he liked when you were talking to him and he even fell asleep. Great job Quan!!

Quan was great, gentle, loving, and conscientious of his son's needs. Unless you all had somewhere to go, give yourself a break on the time. It was Quan's first time on his own, he was filming and taking care of his baby boy's needs. You were a 10 in my book. I know some mother's that don't do it as good as you. 😂!

y’all are doing amazing and the glow y’all have is beautiful I’m so happy for y’all. just a tip; I would honestly try and steer away from bathing him so many times babies have natural moisturizers when they’re born and bathing them that many times especially twice a day can dry out his skin a lot. And if you take a washrag or small towel and put it over him in the bath It will keep him warm LOL just a suggestion

Mom of 3 kiddos and I totally agree with both the rag to keep Shine warm while bathing him and pulling back a little on the number of baths especially in the wintertime because the air is cool and dry. You guys are doing great!!!
