Love the subtle change in the melody, juxtaposing the peaceful undertones of the harpstring with the grandeur and military beat of the drums and trumpets. The Targaryans are leaving the comforts of peace for the pursuit of war. Musical storytelling at its best.
"Over the centuries, House Targaryen has produced both great men and monsters. Prince Daemon was both. In his day there was not a man so admired, so beloved, and so reviled in all Westeros. He was made of light and darkness in equal parts. To some he was a hero, to others the blackest of villains." Daemon Targaryen - The Dragon
@@Oakland510It is honestly heartbreaking. In the books, Damon is described as a rogue, a wild card, but most of all he is described as an intensely loving man who would do *anything* for his brother and wife. The show truly has assassinated his character, mainly because I think they want to make it more up in the air about who's truly in the right regarding the succession and team green versus team black because book Damon is too precious
@@Oakland510 i havnt read the book because i dont need spilers, but till season 2 daemon still my favourite character in cinema and in tv history among with 3-4 more.
@@andrejmarin1907 they also played it in episode 5 when he was walking to meet the lords in the middle of the night. i am pretty sure this will be the new rouge prince theme
Honstly I'm im abit worried about that battle there has been no build up between the characters and there is little emotion there and aemon is not ruthless enough would have preferred him having a better bond with vhagar.
@ds3ol706 well yeah know that but I hope there would still be some build-up between the dynamic there are no emotional stakes. I do hope the battle above the godseye is good
@@dylanh7600 They've built it up quite a bit dude just not in the dialogue but with editing techniques and camera tricks. In season 1 there were several instances of showing Daemon and then Aemond and vice versa. It's a film making technique to subconsciously tell the viewer that the two are connected. Season 2 has already had quite a bit of build up. Firstly, Daemon asking Rhaenys to help him fight Vhaegar as he cannot hope to kill her alone. The B&C incident was Daemon going after Aemond and even Aemond mentions this. Aemond also tells the small council to leave Daemon in Harenhaal while they gather their forces because he knows he is their greatest threat. Daemons vision of himself as Aemond is more blatant of a connection between the two. That's just everything I can think of so far of the top of my head but now after Rooks Rest when Aemond becomes know protector of the realm and essentially accomplishing what Daemon always wish he could (usurping his brother's throne) which I imagine will piss Daemon off thoroughly. Season 3 will have Aemond in Harenhaal with Alys Rivers which will have more build up to their battle. I really hope they give us moments of them almost fighting like maybe a chase scene or Daemon being forced to hide because he knows he can't win which would make him so angry and be amazing to see. I think their discussion before the battle is just as exciting as the fight itself. Plus it seems like they're delving into the white walkers and the children of the forest storyline which could influence how both Daemon and Aemond see their fight maybe believing themselves as the prince that was promised. There's still so much more to come and more that the writers could potentially do. I wouldn't worry about the build up man, they'll hammer the rivalry home in the trailer for whichever season the gods eye battle occurs in.
Well he said he was off to Harrenhall to help raise the banner in Rheanyra name. His arc this season will probably be about him going across Westeros to rally support for the blacks.

Daemon is just the Goat, Rhaenys is defined the Queen and the rest are playing in a game they have no right being in. The last two true Dragonlords of Old Valyria.
Please find the song playing during the final scene of episode 3 with Rhaenyra and Alicent meeting in secret I can’t find it anywhere and it’s so beautiful I had goosebumps
I love this arrangement, thank you so much for creating and sharing. I listen to it every time i drive, the first song i start off. I seriously feel like i'm flying off on Caraxes to conquer the day
