He knew Damon knew all about what she was talking about. You can tell by the look on his face when she said it think about it all the years of him sneaking around, listening in come on I don’t think he’s ever heard that before, especially when their grandfather or father, I mean whatever, come on now you don’t think he ain’t heard that before. ! Obviously he don’t believe it.
True but she just broke his entire reality by confirming that the person he wanted so badly to recognize him as worthy his whole life never did. He never learned how to say sorry tho lmao
@@allysonmack4520this^^ viserys telling rhaenyra about song of ice and fire is basically him warning and urging her to take action once she ascends the throne, because he fully believes she deserves the throne and is capable of handling the prophecy to come. never mentioning to daemon meant viserys, until the end, saw daemon as incompetent and unworthy to bear the responsibility of saving the 7 kingdoms. like, even at his deathbed, he still didnt consider daemon as heir another reason is daemon is quite unsuperstitious. in the scene, hes like "youre not gonna send our dragons and easily take the throne in less than a day just cause ur dad told u about some damn fairytale?". he felt rhaenyra was trying to avoid bloodshed for that reasoning. then he feels personally attacked when she asks whether viserys told him about the prophecy or not
I think it was to prove his point, as when he said to Otto that he would rather feed his son's to the dragons... He is like "stop pretending your half brother is gonna happily give your throne back to you. I'd rather make you feel it first hand, than letting you lose this war so easily just because you don't want to fight your kin"
This is an excellent edit, but it would make it even more incredible if it included the scene of intimacy between the couple while they make love, facing each other eye-to-eye, heart-to-heart.
Yes, in our modern society, it is not common for cousins to marry or be in an avunculate marriage. However, in the Middle Ages, the ruling class and other societal practices viewed these types of marriage positively. The benefits are keeping cultural values intact, preserving family wealth, maintaining geographic proximity, keeping tradition, strengthening family ties, maintaining family structure or a closer relationship, and, for the Valyrians, the ability to bond with their dragons. Even in our world societies worldwide, some people marry within their family because of modern medical DNA, which checks to see if they are compatible. And with this fantasy book, we must accept their customs and beliefs even if they are not ours.
Totally agree ... I was hoping they would leave Milly and do make up & costume magic to make her older... shame, i loved the tension matt and milly had on screen
same 😅 she is beautiful but in most scenes she looks somewhat masculine while Matt Smith’s Daemon has a “feminine” type of handsome so their looks clashed
@@kadygalka-barrick3289 About the Song of Ice and Fire that Viserys told her after he made her heir. Daemon is mad because it meant that his brother never truly considered him his heir.
@@kadygalka-barrick3289he said that they became kings by dragons, not by dreams, which is false since Aaegon the first had a dream about the Long Night and the prince that was promised, which was told to Rhaenyra by Viserys. The Targaryens are also some of the only Valeryians still alive due to a dream that Daenys Targaryen had before the doom of Valeryia
