The way Daemon looks at his brother at the end of the funeral scene tells you he does actually care. Just like how in the beginning at the brothel u see everyone celebrating except Daemon. Up until his woman pushes him to celebrate n then he gives them what they want. Matt Smith was really good at showing Daemon isn't a monster.
@@NWPacJack but Targaryens needed that kind of monster after looking at all the conspiracies against Targaryens and dragons by citedal and seven faith.
Omg yesssss me too. I've wanted them together since day 1. Yes I knew they would be but it had more to do with their chemistry together and the way he looks at her.
The first scene shows that they’re obviously thirsty for each other Rhaenyra doesn’t even tell daemon to leave the throne room and daemon doesn’t talk nasty to her
I love the part where she goes to dragon marine to comfort Damon if wasn’t already a little I love with her he was at that moment her bravery matched any man’s
Biggest fail I just noticed. His 'would-be wife' shouldn't understand high valyrian, yet when he is talking to Rhaenyra and telling her that "someday" she'll be pregnant, the White Worm looks at him in disgust and walks off as if she understood
People of Lys speak a variant of Valyrian, one of many dialects called "Bastard Valyrian." They're different languages from High Valyrian, but I'm sure Mysaria was able to pick up a few words and get the gist of what he was saying. Or at least that's how I interpreted it. But I suppose that begs the question of why they speak English together in private... Suspense of disbelief I guess!
@@danielbaesler7936 ah that would make sense then. However definitely a miss on the writers part and I personally would of never known had you not told me
This is something that I feel HotD is missing...details. Sure it has a lot of hidden details, but Mysaria wasn't that well handled in the series so far in my opinion and some things are a bit conflicted, and some are made to 'flow'. Spoiler for the books down. . . . . . Mysaria and people of Lys *should* also look similar to Targaryans (silver hair, purple eyes etc), they also speak Valyrian and she should be pregnant. So it was changed for the series but it still keeps true to Daemon can only keep it up for women that look like Targaryans. Tho I understand why Targaryans and Velaryons are the only white haired characters, given that affording wigs for everyone would have been hefty.
@@TheSkyrimInquisitor I feel they decided to make things easier for casual viewers and gave white hair only to Targaryens and Velaryons. It can't be a matter of cost only, otherwise they could have stayed true to the source and given Rhaenys black hair, which she took from her Baratheon mother (incidentally, One of the many instances where Baratheon-blood children have black hair, no matter their other parent's hair color)
I know people want adaptations to stay close to the source material, but I really want the show writers to change the ending for these two and give them a happier ending. Make up for the god awful ending of GOT
That would be cool, but in GOT Rhaenyra's death is already said. Joffrey told Margaery (a bit too gleefully) she died being eaten by Aegon's dragon while her son watched. Breaks my heart tbh.
@@hannahadams2122 who's to say it was RHaenyra? Joffrey was a sadistic psychopath and history has a way of being distorted. the show has already changed things. like Laenor's 'death. Alicent's age and other factors that could change things. and the age Rhaenyra dies seems likely to change too. in the books she was 33 when she died her son Aegon III was near 10. episode 7 says Rhaenyra is currently 27/28 and no Aegon III. the show writers have said in interviews to not take things previously mentioned in GOT as fact because they will put their own spin on everything GOT also changed confirmed truths and deaths- like Lyanna and Rhegar and what really caused the war. there was also Theon Greyjoy faking Bran and Rickon's deaths. So it is possible anything can happen in the show. until i see their deaths I will hold hope for change of fate
@@BlastFromThePastTheGoodOldDays eww i don't want that to happen. It will ruin the whole dance of dragon history. The least i want from this couple is that daemon shouldn't cheat on Rhaenyra with lady misery or nettles and die to kill the greatest threat for his queen and wife.
Which episode is the one where they talk and it seems like they're speaking French/ Portuguese? I can almost understand what theyre saying. Maybe garden scene?
