I doubt Daemon would be able to do anything here, he wouldn't risk attacking Aemond because he'd be attacking a Prince. On top of that, Aemond is a better swordsman, Daemon is a better dragonrider, but he doesn't have his dragon.
@Ron Swanson There was no Daemon turning his back on Cole in the novel, This is a misrepresentation from the writers of the series, Cole beats Daemon more than once with all integrity
Another thing I just LOVE about this scene is how Aemond's actor managed to go from looking so smug to quietly intimidated and lowkey pissed at how easily Daemon managed to take the wind out of his sails with nothing but a look.
Daemon had just cut a man's head in half earlier this day for calling those boys bastards, not just any man but someone with the same status as a 2nd born prince like himself and Aemond. The subtle expressions were superb on this scene. I'm secretly dreading yet so excited to see their ending.
Damon is nothing more than Criston Cole's whooping boy and he trained ameond. Aemond beats him 10/10 on the ground in a swordfight (god's eye was a sword fight)
Daemon's face is literally the calm before your death. Remember, he didn't give a fuck even if it's the Seasnake's brother. No one touches his family. And Aemond realized that the second the smirk drained from his face. 🔥🔥 🙌
Daemon is 'Dad Goals' in this moment. Calming your kids with a word and a raised hand while sending their bullies packing with just a look. Bravo Matt Smith,
Dude seriously, he’s like the best part of the show, and everyone is fantastic too, when he brought the crab kings severed torso back with blood dripping down his face…..
Daemon desperately wanted to kick the crap out of Aemon..and he knew it...that's why h walked away..he had just seen his uncle behead someone for basically saying the same thing...Daemon should be king..
I wouldn't be so sure that aemond would just be quick work for Daemon, especially as he wa strained by Cole, if Cole were here, Daemon wouldn't act so cool, cause he knows that without his dragon he gets handled by Cole
@@rias.gremoryyy Nah cole is tough but not better than deamon except in tourneys but in battlefield you've no idea what deamon is capable of. Just wait you'll see it soon enough as dance begins in the season finale
@@rias.gremoryyy you seem to forget that Ser Crispin only won because Daemon turned his back on him in a fuckn tournament. Besides fighting in a tournament is not the same as fighting in a war. While Daemon spent years fighting in the stepstones Ser Crispin stood on King's Landing looking pretty.
@@rias.gremoryyy Okay so let's go over this. In Episode 1, we see Cole and Daemon fight in the tourney where Cole won... through dishonorable means. Meaning Daemon won the fight and was egging on the audience whilst Cole decided to go for a behind the back attack. In an actual fight Daemon wouldn't turn his back to address a crowd. Then for the next few years, whilst Cole is serving as Kingsguard and letting his experience go rusty, Daemon is gaining experience in the steppes; in episode 3 I think it was we even see him cut down well over a dozen men one after the other. Cole continues to serve in the Kingsguard for 20 years now... meanwhile Daemon fights on and off for years at a time. Cole would lose easily to Daemon, you're delusional if you think otherwise.
@@JamesMerlaut you're the delusional one. In the books they fought 3 times. And Criston has won all 3 times convincingly. Moreover the “showing his back” was never in the books. I love Daemon but you stans are actually mad a lot of times
Except both of Aemonds nephews are trained and the one who hit Aemond is the same age as him and same size, Daemon is telling Aemond that when they say go to your room it still means Aemond too. Daemon respects Aemond and Vice Versa they're the most similar characters in the story
@@lawinaabraham3073 fr, not to mention that Aemond would probably hold his own because he was trained all those years by Cole, and Cole stronger than Daemon, Daemon without a dragon gets handled by Cole and potentially Aemond
He does not bully them he stated the truth . A truth he lost an eye and almost got tortured over . But yeah He knows Daemon will be the death of him , he will end him like he ended his ex wife .
@@giovannidisciorio8691 edmure Tully did what any father would do. If he want it to surrender he would of done it long time ago. Btw brynden Tully held riverrun for 7 months and edmure didn’t surrender because why? He loved is uncle and family. The Tully words, family, duty, honor. He had to betray his uncle to protect his new born son and also the Tully line.
Daemon was fucking itching for it man. He was ready to give him a taste of his own medicine. “Gonna fuck with kids half your size? Well, I’m a battle-hardened veteran. I’d say that’s equivalent”
Half his size or not their all the same age so jace and luce aren’t out of striking range just yet. Especially with the attitudes all four of them carry for each other
I love the subtle psychological show of dominance from Daemon. Making eye contact is something predators do. The one to break that eye contact first is usually seen as submissive. If they were to do battle right then, Daemon had already won the psychological battle. And that's arguably the more important of the two battles you fight against someone. Because if you do not believe fully and without doubt that you are going to win, then you won't. Don't mind me and my random rambling of psychology and why Daemon is a genius for using it.
Can we give Daemon props on being one of the best stepdads ever too?!?! Lucerys and Jecerys (I hope I'm spelling their names right) aren't even his children, but he defends them constantly! He takes an attack against them as personal as if they were his own sons. Not only that, but he seems completely fine with Jecerys inheriting the throne after Rhaenyra instead of one of his sons. Daemon is stepdad/husband goals!! Plus, Daemon is bad a$$! I hated him at first, but he definitely my favorite character now!!!
i absolute love how Daemon is perfectly happy killing everyone again in that room family or not but he respected his brother's wishes he wasn't a good brother (or uncle) but definitely a damn loyal one this is y im a daemon stan like most ppl lmao
