Daemon Claw is a new game for the PC, Neo Geo AES/MVS, and Sega Mega Drive by Neo Fid,BitBeamCannon and PixelHeart. In this video I take a closer look at the game. I am not affiliated with this game project, but simply wanted to share because I think it's a cool new retro game. Thanks for watching.

Looks like a spin on Kung Fu, Altered Beast and other scrolling beat em ups that didn't have up/down/diagonal movement. I dig.

As cool as this is and I probably will buy it, i’m just gonna be real with you this game should come out on modern consuls before retro. As much as people like me and you appreciate this we are a tiny minority, the real money would be on the Nintendo switch for a game like this.

@@HoorayTV21 because I’m a real gamer and I understand the market unlike you!!! I have never came across a real gamer that would say what you just said lol, there are many great modern games. There are even modern games that are inspired by retro games, for example this game. If you are gamer you would know this (don’t tell me you are a gamer because you’re not)

I think releasing on both modern and retro is a smart idea by hitting both audiences.

@@Gamester81 i’m definitely on board with going to retro don’t get me wrong, that would be my preferred place to play it!!! I’m just saying it would be better if they focused on modern consuls first then brought it over to retro. Realistically how many people do you think you’re going to buy this on NEO GEO compared to how many people probably would’ve bought this on Nintendo Switch or PS5. You are right when you say it should be on both I just feel like they should focus on modern and then worry about retro. For example I am 44 years old and I’ve been gamer my entire life and all my friends are also hard-core gamers and Im sure none of them probably are going to hear game because they don’t even look at retro game consuls anymore.
