when i saw this car plate number i realized that this car is belongs to my big brother later he sold this car for mileage issue 😒 But the car Is just Awesome 👌

Happy to see the same Cielo that I owned during the Pandemic and sold it off later, lot of memories with it, the Stop light, speakers, much more were DIY. I got it from Shivamoga KA.

People used to put in santro injectors for better economy in those days and it was a direct fit. But pulling to 80 was okayish after that it took ages to reach 120!

Awesome car, i still own one from 2007, now it has almost 200k km on board, it has a sport exhaust installed, a big subwoofer in the back, high quality speakers, ambiental lighting inside, and LED headlights. I also repainted it twice and its looking like brand new.

actually from 1990 to 2000 days are golden days and cars are also super i remember tata sierra tata estate mahindra jeep ambassador premier padmini fiat fiat palio tata sumo indica maruthi 1000 cc maruti 800 daewoo matiz technology developed in a limited aspect but not too much like nowadays yamaha rx 100 and chetak hero honda cd 100 are so popular in 1990s i think too much technology development is also hazardous to mankind that means anything too much is dangerous

I recognize this design. The U.S. market got this sold as the Pontiac LeMans from 1987 to 1993. The Canadian market initially got this sold as the Passport Optima and it later became the Asüna SE/Asüna GT.

Thank you for making this video, thanks again for finding such a nice example! My father had 2 of these, amazing cars but not very reliable post 80,000KM. I think these alloys are from a first gen Baleno. Parts are near impossible to find for this car, so even the best running example that you can find today, would be very average. BTW, Nexia was a comprehensive upgrade from the Cielo, it had a 3 speed auto gearbox, but also got a manual. It got a DOHC 1.6 engine which is an upgrade over this 1.5 SOHC unit, the former was re-used again on the Optra which in itself, is a Daewoo, named as Nubira

My Dad had it for a while, but I enjoyed it for a very long time after His demise in 2003. Till 2012. 1999 model fully loaded GLX. 9 kns per 1liter of petrol⛽. Drove it 59000 km my dad being an Assistant Collector he only drove 6k from 2000 to march 2003 his death. I'm blessed. My best car. It's awesome👍 experience. 🥰my favorite😍 car till date so many memories🙏.

Daewoo did it's best job with its Lacetti Cruze under the badge if GM Chevrolet in Indian markets and that beast is still roaring even after the sales have stopped in India. Daewoo were much ahead of time when it came to cars with reliability, good engine, transmission and features. An overall package. But hamne toh tin cans hi prefer karne hai. Sigh!

The exhaust system is broken and tied up with cables so it is not aligned in the slot of the bumper. And DCM had partnership with TOYOTA and formed DCM TOYOTA and they manufactured LCV'S in mid '80s. DCM stands for Delhi Cotton Mills. The Owner is running her in LPG as Cielo is very thirsty car having average of 7-8kms a liter but LPG will spoil the engine.
