HILVERSUM - It is the real thing according to the former firefighters who will again welcome the DAF torpedo ladder with call number 654 at the barracks in Hilversum on Monday. There he comes again to restore. The car ladder dates from 1964 and served in Hilversum until the mid-eighties and was then used for a short time as a training car. He then ended up in a museum and now he was purchased by the firm A&F Firetrucks from Hasselt and donated to the Hilversum fire station.
