Love the WKRP shirt!!! Best show ever! All of our daffis are done for the season, but the lady who owned our house before we bought it last year has created a beautiful trail through the woods just lined with gorgeous daffodils and other woodland flowers, and we have a huge stand of wisteria which is so gorgeous!!!!...We have been so blessed to be able to get this home. Love seeing you out standing in your field... 😁😁😁
I'm not sure if watching that show as a kid sparked my career in television but it might have! I adored the theme song and still sing it today. That trail sounds magical

I wish I could have met the lady whose home this was, she passed away last year so her estate sold it. She has so many different plantings of things I am trying to learn about; so grateful for the Seek app! Every day is a new discovery! I need to take a road trip up there to shop at your nursery...so many gorgeous little plants I MUST HAVE! 😁

Oh goodie! I hoped you would show how the tulips were growing using your new method. Considering we're at the same zone (I'm in Minneapolis) your daffodils and tulips are much further along than mine. I hope the bunnies keep away. I know Grandma will get one of your first bouquets. That was so sweet before when you presented her with daffs. Here's 🙏🏼 you get good weather so you can get planting and harvesting tulips without damage.
I would give my right arm for Sir Winston Churchill! For some reason I can't find it in Canada! I collect Winston Churchill memorabilia and Daff's are one of my favorite flowers!
Looks like you can keep your arm. I just Googled: daffodils sir Winston Churchill Canadian delivery and several retailers popped up. One is Canadian Gardener. Eden Brothers, Dutch Bulbs are other options. Of course, ordering now might not be successful. Good luck!
The first flowers of spring are so wonderful and exciting! All the tulips and daffodils look so good! If I had tulips planted like you do, I'd have every deer within 10 miles at my place chowing down. They would also bring their bunny friends.
Finally harvesting again 🎉 ❤. Never saw your pink daffodils you planted at home. Did your garden flower as you hoped? My Repletes flowered pink last year but opened pale yellow and then white this year. Anybody know why?
Hello from London UK dear Nicole 😃 How wonderful to see you back harvesting your first crop of daffodils in the field ! Nothing says Spring has arrived like the first daffodils. I will remember the "goose / duck" neck picking tip. Funny to think that Upstate NY is at least a month and a half behind London UK in terms of blooming season. Spring was a very wet one here too, actually the wettest February on UK records and that speaks volume. My favourite fancy daffodil this season was "Popeye" that is really worth a try if you do not already have it. Happy 1st Harvest dear Flower Friend 💚

Is it correct that if you pick the flowers they will not naturalize and come back next year? Or will they because you left the foliage and only picked the flower?
