For all the peeps wondering, yes, this is an official remix of the derezzed song; there was an official remix album by Disney using a bunch of well-known artists. I know this because I bought it. And the whole thing rocks.
Daft Punk is the best thing going for music. I don't see "The King's Speech" Score getting remixed a 100 times a day. One CD has evolved into a phenomenon.
This was the teaser made in 2008 from before the film was even in full production, so there are inconsistencies with the final film. This is probably reminiscent of the original Tron, where the bikes were yellow and blue.
Not gonna lie...... When on my Ducati 998 I have this music running through my head...... Then I'm 50km/h over the speed limit before i notice whats happening.
I knew it! When I watched this movie, I thought all the time.. "What an amazing sound! The artist is just amazing! I think this matches to this movie though, but The music is TOO Awesome.. god, I think I didn´t watched this movie, only listened to it XD" Seirously.. and what? Of course Daft Punk... those sounds are just too awesome... and like zarkotek said, movie should be grateful, Daft Punk gave this movie a class touch... =w=
It's green because this is a promo for TRON: Evolution which takes place between the original movie TRON and TRON: Legacy (TRON: Evolution is a game). Why the guy is green? I'm not too sure myself. I mean, there's only 1 that I know of that is green. His name is Gibson from TRON: Evolution and he's like an engineering type of guy. He wouldn't go around on a light cycle hunting down programs. There could be more green programs in TRON: Uprising or TRON 2.0, heck even TRON: Evolution that I don't know of. Although I doubt there will be any in TRON 2. (btw the primary colour for bad guys in terms of TRON: Legacy is actually orange, not red. Red is only for Clu.)
I like this better than Social Network. I know this is old but if the Academy Awards wanted to give a Techno-based soundtrack an Oscar, this should have got it. Still can't believe it wasn't nominated.
Whatdoesthe Worldsay actually the album one is only about 1 minute and 50 seconds long while this one is almost 4 minutes so some work has been done on it
Apparently the guy who helped make TRON loved Daft Punk wayyy before, and decided to incorporate it together to make it Bitchin awesome!! lol what a genius man.
Believe it or not i fell asleep watching Tron for the second time, until one of DP's songs came which woke me right up and out of my sleep and innately made my foot start tapping. Proof that Daft Punk's music reaches far past the conscious, and taps right into the unconscious.
I think this was a brilliant trailer to make for Tron because it showed it's potential and how exciting it would be but it never gave actual spoilers from the movie and such
The movie was epic, I dunno what all you are on about. Did any of you even see the original Tron? I admit the special effects are way old in that movie but it's good for its time and it adds a lot to this movie.
