Someday, they will. Like there were not any chance to see a new Star Wars back in the day... look... there is a fuckin new trilogy. This is TRON not a fuckin court metrage made by a random fuck.
Man 94-95 96 nobody's ever seen anything like these guys they just killed it on the scene. Kimball Collins and Sacha. Orlando, Daytona, West Palm, Ibiza, Cayman Brach, Cayman Petite, and many uncounted unfathomable mindless miles in between this song shall forever remain my anthem to those times. 25 going on 30 years ago I think I get a pass even though that song wasn't around, like those daft punks from France they shall be timeless forever.
For me , this version is way better because the track has a nice flow from beginning to end . Also , simply sounds better . It has this special something that makes this version stand out , more than the official one .
As someone who worships Tron Legacy, Daft Punk and the subgenre of Darksynth this truly brings a single tear to my eye. It's so fucking good. Thank you oh great algorithm for bringing me this.
SO...MUCH...BASS!!! An excellent song overall, the bass shakes my whole house when I plug my speakers in so, you know. God, my favorite song from my favorite movie by my favorite composers. This could NOT get any fucking better man.
Love this jam. Been listening to it even when it got deleted for a while. I work the midnight shift and listen to this several times a week when I'm driving around. Ultimate night jam.
Ahh I remember this video, it made me totally hooked for tron absolutely love this version. I remember daft punk said fakes are fine as long as they don't turn out better than their real tracks... this one might've done that
It's definitely not bad, I like that it's longer than the original, but the original is permanently burned into my brain and is my favorite of all. Still good to hear a different version
It really makes the piece. I think this is why it stands out over the officially released one. It builds up and just immerses you into a world of switch boards, signals, and pathways that converge into an amazing musical experience.
Just realized, I've listened to this at least a thousand times... Only now hit the like button. I'll listen a thousand more to make up for this. Where is the 10 hour version?
I catch that "Homework" era sound you speak of. Definately the DP. I prefer this to the OST version they added in, but agree with the statement that it wouldn't have fit the scene. There would have been too much going on with the song to focus on anything in the scene. Definitely my favorite driving beat out there. Smooth sound with a solid groove to the beat... the sound blends with the lights.
I looked it up. It was not Hans Zimmer (although TRON sounds like work of his) that helped make the soundtrack. A composer named Joseph Trapanese worked with Daft Punk to bring the orchestrated sound to TRON while keeping Daft Punk's electronic sounds. I don't know where this version came from.
