Btw the reason I didn’t attempt to remake the drums, despite having the original sample, is that no one including myself has been able to remake the drums even remotely close to the original. I didn’t want to destroy the integrity of the remake by using my crappily remade version so I opted for just using the drum break from the song. This is why I do the little demonstration at the start though. 0:26 to skip to remake
some criticism: -Steppenwolf doesn’t start and end at the exact same time as It Keeps You Running; it plays just slightly after but they still end at the same time (i messed this up in my own remake so) -Jisco Dazz is layered with 909 drums -Tell Me To My Face is just a little bit flat -South City Midnight Lady is cut off like right before the bar line other than that it’s a very good remake, not very often to see remakes as accurate as this

It's crazy to think that the original tune was made a decade ago. And thanks to computers getting a lot more advanced, we can just completely reconstruct/remake tunes like this. Someone else even made a good remake in Ableton, but seeing it here in FL Studio is pretty cool as well.
@@esicleneYeah, thats true, but think about it. Sampling had been a thing for a few good years in the 90s on computers, it was just very resource intensive on those. So doing this kind-of stuff was probably out of the question. (unless you're looking at tracker music, cause there are a few good ones out there.)
In my case I would go with Frontier Psychiatrist from The Avalanches That song is magnificent and the variety of the samples presentes and how they manage to connect each one of them is out pf this world
You should check out anything by Todd Edwards, that’s his sound and why Daft Punk drafted him in to do the sampling on this track. He’s the sampling god! Plus he wrote and sang the vocals too. Some of the sampling on his tracks are mind blowing.
Sounds pretty accurate to me. The only thing I can hear that's off (besides some of the mixing), is that you overlapped the Firefall and Boz Scaggs samples twice. It only happens in the first bar, the second is just Boz Scaggs.
This is crazily well done! One of my fav tracks from DP, and I only year a minor difference in the "Christopher" sample and the Twins theme is more pronounced (maybe louder? Idk for sure).
I don’t know if you knew but actually the synth bass patch comes from the dx7 and it’s called lately bass. It was used on a lot of house tracks of the 90s and it was available on a lot of other digital Yamaha rack mounted synthesisers.

There’s none! You just have to be really careful with the timing. I mostly see people messing that but up. Also make sure you’re using the right timestamp!
I've been in a Face to Face hyperfixation, and I was wondering if you could share the FLP so that I could make a version of this, similar to Nickster's version where he used newer samples.
