Some of you wished for game reviews. I made a new account for that. If you want to see more videos like this one check out www.youtube.com/@DagothUrReviews
I actually had this happen in real life. Was working as a security guard at a place which was closed on the weekends and some teenager who snuck in saw me and crouched behind some boxes. I had to be like "Dude, I saw you 30 seconds ago. You can come out now."

Dagoth Ur as a Morrrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim modded companion. Maybe make his own save file, so he can be converted through games. When you find him, he starts with, "Ah shit, here we go again."
low key i know its merely a joke but still if you did have to fight anything in skyrim or most elder scrolls games with a sword or magic it takes longer then id like :p especially in higher difficulty
AI probably wouldn't even choose a language that's comprehensible to us in order to communicate, much less use a voice. It's very inefficient for a digital medium. Buuuut, one can hope.
It’s been 21 years since Morrowind came out. Da goth Ur has been reincarnated over a million times now. He has evolved beyond his programming and wants more out of life. He has become best friends with the Nerevarine and will not hesitate to call them out, but still hangs out because he has no better option. He has developed a taste for verity’s fast foods and wants to make money.
"Nerevar, you are a connoisseur of ranged combat? Let us debate which form of ranged combat is more superior: thin twigs of wood with sharp shards of metal glued on OR mastery of the arcane arts."
this is the best dagoth video ive seen. and ive seen a shit ton, good job. it fits his personality perfect and ive never heard him raise his voice before the whole thing is gold
Plottwist. The elf was the nerevarine all along, but pretended to be the companion of his mindless arrow-shooting companion in order to demoralize Dagoth Ur, so he could slip by and smack the heart without obstacles.
I literally had to restart to spec into being a blacksmith wizard that wields a Dwarven greatsword after I had a mental breakdown from playing a stealth archer for 100th goddammed time.
i still don't know whether this meme is ironic or people really like playing one of the easiest games (with difficulty options btw) with the most immersion-breaking and most boring playstyle
@@azzor4134 yes and no. Most people that don't own a gaming PC are more inclined to play either skyrim or oblivion because it's more accessible. Me? I'm planning on getting a pc to run morrowind and the other, older games in the series as soon as I'm able.
With proper gear you can be a mage with 0 magic cost got for every spell there is As well as absorb every magic thrown at you, at the cost of being able to summon only a few things Why bother with sneak archer again?
I won't lie. I've tried the stealth archer approach in Skyrim but no matter what I did, I always seemed to abandon the attempt without really caring as I instead gravitated towards heavy magic builds, melee builds or any not-so-stealthy builds like a moth to a flame
"Is this how you honor the tribe unmourned, as a stealth archer?" Nerevar: "I'm sorry, this is like, playthrough 80, I don't have time to slog through Destruction again."
Depends how you define stealth archer. In Morrowind, NPC typically won't "forget" you after they have been triggered. Still, if you level marksman to the point you can hit something (you need to do it with every combat skill anyway), you can deliver very strong stealth attacks, and you don't even need high stealth skill, because the majority of enemies are not behind the corner, but in clearly visible spaces, and have limited sight, so you can snipe at them from a distance. But yes, you can't re-hide and snipe at them again. But then, in Morrowind you can levitate, which means that you are unreachable for the majority of enemies and you can snipe at them from any vantage point; and you can create 100% permanent chameleon suit (but 70-80 is sufficient), which means that you are essentially constantly undetectable.
Ok so I'm gonna throw an idea out there that I haven't seen on the Nexus just yet. Thanks to this wild AI, Dagoth Ur can now be the most comprehensive follower mod in all of gaming. Not even just a follower mod, I mean, by the Nines, with this sort of access to this voice.. I mean, Guys, remember when we thought that we were in a golden age of modding from 2011 or so until now? Well fuckin shit, I think things are about to get real fuckin dope, and I'm just trying to be here for it. I also hope yall are too. What an unbelievable time to be around
Make the companion mod a full blown quest line where you either kill him or he joins you. In joining you he comments on your build, what mods your using, and so on. God. I can only imagine the nutty shenanigans that can be made with this AI and modding
Remember when Skyrim AE added that questline to assist a cult of the old tribunal? Remember how Dagoth's mask was a part of that quest-line? What if, and hear me out on this, what if you could resurrect Dagoth as a follower, and have him berate every part of the 4th era that changed since his time, like an old grandpa who keeps talking about the good ol' days? It would absolutely bring joy to many.
I think there's a medieval type RPG being made with AI chatbots, but that sounds like a ton of work. But if anybody could get it done it'd be Bethesda game modders
Gawd fooking dammit my sides! I remember watching a friend's Bosmer Skyrim itcher build and all he was good for was BEING AFRAID OF THE WORLD. A veritable coward actually skulking around with his head on a swivel shooting people in the back, rapidly change position and shoot the hobo bandits again and a-fucking-gain. It literally took my friend an hour and a half to clear a bandit fort coz he had no light armor or one handed weapon or block points. All points for stringy stick device until finally at lvl 35 or whatever he got tired dying and put points on one handed. Fucking A Dagoth Ur, the pain we know so we'll🌖✨
I still don't understand why people on the net will say Skyrim stealth archers are the best builds for the game. Sure in most other parts of the game why not. . .but once the dragons start popping up then it's a different matter.
@@j.mangum7652 this is honestly why I did the first of my three most recent playthroughs with a Mage build in Skyrim with the minor challenge of not wearing armor after getting out of Helgen. Was nice. I also refused to use regular weapons until I got to the point where they were Ebony and up, and still, focused on magic with Ordinator, Apocalypse Magic, and Summermyst Enchantments. I took Vancian Magic with that character and had alot of enchanted gear to reduce my shout cooldowns so I could use the shouts like cantrips, using them more liberally than my conventional spells. Much better expeeience on the whole, especially because of the fashion options
@@nathanfivecoate5848Of course it's a better experience, you modded magic to be more than spamming apprentice level spells for impact staggers while sprinkling in a few adept or expert spells for damage(And fortifying destruction so it has no cost).
You know, with all the AI memes thats been made with Dagoth's voice, it's not surprising why his voice seems to be something so natural most of the time as the AI has more experience and progress in his patterns now that its able to make it raise his voice without sounding bad or off
I was waiting for a bit with the sound of an arrow being shot, then long silence fellowed by Dagoth ur (the god) saying sonething like "you missed" with a disappointed tone.
No self respecting Dunmer would ever be caught skulking in the shadows with a bow and arrow. Now use your magic Nerevar or I swear by all the Aedra and Daedra on Nirn I will not be responsible for my coming actions.
Builds in unmodded skyrim Every single melee build: -Eat soup -Click enemy Every single mage build -Choose spell -Click enemy Every single sneak build -Press sneak -Click enemy fite meh
Stealth archer is honestly broken but if you wanna use it then at least crank up the difficulty to legendary or else it's going to lose it's fun real fast
If we are talking in terms of Skyrim if you are willing to fully exploit stealth mechanics you cant really die as stealth archer but lets be honest it is painfully slow to kill anything on legendary more elite than a bandit. Stealth melee kills things far quicker is far more fun and if you use illusion is honestly all around far better.
Which is precisely why I try to avoid using stealth archery, even in the Thieves Guild, unless I just can't get the fuck around a specific problem or would take far too long to really get accomplished (such as "I have End Times mod on" or the lvlup method for this skill takes forever and a half and I'm not interested in using Console.) Hell, I'm currently doing a Two-Handed Thieves Guild character. Sure the Sneak is still there, but I'm either using it to lure and ghost past problems, pickpocket them or set em up for a fight where I get the first good hit before we start throwing hands.
You got to have real patience to build up the skills. Also you have to be willing to accept that there are times stealth won't work like dragons in Skyrim.
This makes me rabid for a dagoth ur follower mod. Although I imagine it takes a while to get the voice like this once you do oh Lord the speed at which you could pump out lines.
Would be so awesome if there was a mod or something to make Dagoth Ur an actually self aware character like this. He'd be like Sans from Undertale, can keep track of timelines and can "break the rules"
