this barely counts as an animatic, considering how many fully animated sequences there are. this is truly stellar! and somehow, despite you claiming to have recently developed the aa brainworm (welcome to the club), you understood dahlia so much better than a good chunk of the fanbase. this will be rotating in my mind for the next 36 hours.
THIS IS A MASTERPIECE IM GOING INSANEEEEEEEEEEEE I LOVE HOW YOU ANIMATED THE BUTTERFLIES FLYING AROUND HER AND THE NECKLACE(Phoenix totally didn’t eat) SPINNING AND SHOWING EACH OF THE MEN SHE AFFECTED! This is absolutely gorgeous I’m absolutely in love 😭😭😭😭
Please !! Tell me how you make that animation so smooth and active at the same time🤩🤩🤩 How do you get the ideas? I need to know !( sorry if my english is bad 😅)
Your English is perfect! I animated on 9 FPS (frames per second) and it takes a lot of trial and error with other works to figure out the spacing between each pose to make it look natural. Recording yourself doing the actions helps a lot too for referencing! Ideas is kind of hard to explain. They come from anywhere. For example, the flashing images with the umbrella wasn’t planned, I did it after recently learning about 3D zoetropes. Watch as many movies and tv shows, read books, sit upside down, go explore the world, learn new stuff! Everything will be stored in your brain and come up when you’re making your own art. (My Digital Hallucination animatic for example, the spinning room was inspired from a scene in High School Musical 3. Ideas come from everywhere!) Hope this helps! The most important thing to learn is to just create things! You’ll learn from your mistakes, and don’t be afraid to start over!
@@ErinAguilar Wow. This is such a sweet comment. You took time out of your day to give OP encouragement and specific, useful advice. What a nice, genuine thing to do. I hope all good things come your way.
0:39 Dahlia's backstory here is so good. In game she insists that everything that happened was her choice, but I think it's a bit much to claim that she convinced her father to ditch her sister when she was a child and that she seduced a grown man at 14. Her childhood life was really just terrible, through little fault of her own, but she still takes the credit.
This is so good, extremely smooth and fluid to watch! Also love how you showed the two sides of Dahila, the tragedy and pain she experienced as a child in the umbrella sequence while also the dangerous villain she became as an adult
so glad i saw this. she IS that fucked up girl GOD i love noel’s lament so much. dahlia hawthorne what the fuckkk 😭🙏 amazing animation oh my GOSH every frame is beautiful. this is composed so wonderfully.
