I have a lot of feelings re: ace attorney and the many, many parallels it likes to draw between the main case, especially during the first game. Phoenix being saved by Edgeworth and Mia, and him later saving Maya and Edgeworth in return... it gets me every time, yall. SO I made an animatic/pmv to help exorcise my emotions!!
Not quite as finished/refined as I'd have liked when I initially started it, but I'm happy enough with it to post~

My friend just got into Ace Attorney and I immediately shared this with her because imo its the definitive animatic for the fandom 💖 Like legit it's one of my favorite animatics ever made, you really captured the emotions of the first game perfectly, and even heightened them a bit. I come back to this all the time

This actually made me realise the true impact Mias death would have had one Phoenix, I feel like they glossed over it in the games and that Mia not being able to be channeled or come back as a ghost would be a more interesting concept!

hands down my fave ace attorney animatic i've seen. the interpretation of the song is awesome and the timing for every scene feels perfect (bar the missing / unfinished ones ofc) i hope you come back and make a complete version one day!
