Thanks for taking the time to comment and for the kudos. Yes, a couple of reasons: 1) generally turrets suffer from a lack of illuminators over their bullet cam brothers/sisters in most cases leaving you with 2 IR or Warm Temp (depending on camera) illuminators on turret vs 4 on bullet cam. The A180 features 4 on the turret so you have ample on-camera lighting if a) you have no other light on scene (I don’t recommend this, always add light where you can) or b) to supplement lighting already on scene and fill in darker areas of an FOV where needed. 2) Close focus distance (CFD) is improved in the turret version (slightly closer and in line with what I would expect from the 3.6mm standalone optics I use and test) over the bullet cam version. The algorithms and AGC have also been tweaked a little more (per my feedback) on the turret version leading to a little less noise, improved PQ and slight improvement to stitching. Some of this should be coming to the bullet cam version (with exception of CFD adjustments) so may become a non issue for point 2 in future. 3) The size of the turret is really remarkable considering this is a dual sensor 180 degree camera therefore allows for more flexibility on install location and is less obtrusive than its bullet cam equivalent. I always liked the look of the turrets. 90% of my cameras are that type :) I'm planning to buy 180° camera so I will go with Dahua turret 180 this time. Does it cover exactly 180 degree or bit more? I would like to install that camera under soffit outside the building and I wonder if it will cover the 2 doors that are on one line with cam. Sorry for all those questions but I really appreciate your answers

No problem about the questions, glad the video and the info is helpful. Yes it does give you a full 180 degree view. This cam is great for say center of a driveway with clear view left and right (i.e. replacing multiple cams) or for corner installations so you get views of both directions, porches and entryways and (as mentioned in the video) for PTZ activation when you have a PTZ in the mix. HTH
