Idk why but shun kinda remind me of a street black cat. He was betrayed and now have serious trust issues so when a kind owner adopted him, he still wary of him. He sleep alot, stundere to the core and get jealous even tho he didn't admit it. He hate the owner but at the same time want the attention. Practically a CAT😂
From my POV, i think shun is someone that need a constant validation and certainty before he jump into a relationship because he afraid that if he just carelessly make a decision, he will be abandon if the person see his flaw. That's why, he constantly test Dai to see how Dai will handle it. So, in conclusion i think Shun is fear of abandonment.😢

Whoever is calling Shun toxic is speaking from a place of privilege. First of all: 1) his moves are defensive mechanism : Imagine being a baby or a kid who knows that no one will be there for him, and the only one who is going to protect him in this scary world is himself. Being an orphan is way harder than growing in bad environment.. he was alone in this world.. 2) He must have been surprised that some people fall in love at first sight. That's why he wanted to know if Dai was serious or if it was just a temporary feeling. He wanted to understand why Dai liked him. That's obviously because he never experienced unconditional love. He never experienced being cared for; he was abandoned. That's why, when Dai love-bombed him, he was uncomfortable and wanted space and to be just friends. It’s not his common sense-his common sense is fight or flight. 3) Shun made an incredible effort because, at first, Dai wasn't his type. (I’m pretty sure most of us have a type, and it's hard to give someone who isn't our type a chance.) He didn't want to give Dai hope that he would be with him or interested in him just because Dai had a crush on him. 4) He grew and became better. He was afraid because he knew that when he falls in love, he will fall hard. That's why he was stopping himself from falling in love with Dai, trying to find reasons to prove himself wrong-that he doesn't deserve love and that it was just a phase. That’s why he was testing him. 5) You can tell he is neurodivergent. For example, he gets overwhelmed by noise, which is expected because of where he grew up. Any way let's be kind and an understanding people because we have no right to judge a person we know nothing about him or about the demons in his head especially if that person is aware of his problems and is working on himself to be better ❤️

It's completely understandable why you said that, but if you really watch the vid carefully, you should know what Shun been go through since his childhood, his parents abandoned him since he was a baby, he never recieve love from his parents, he never had a 'family' that he can rely on, but himself. Not just this already hugely affected his self-esteem, but also his past toxic relationship with others also build up this trauma to him. It makes him very vulnerable and hard to build up trust or even a relationship with other. He's not a bad person neither with a bad heart, all his past restricted him from being able to share or express his emotion comfortably, he may doubt hisself so often and consider himself as wothless all the time. Being abandoned since birth, being alone without recieving love from his parent hugely distroyed him, he got no one to rely on, neither one who can shown him what 'love' is, he's being extremely careful and scared in every step he's gonna make, yes, the way he communicate or express his feeling may not be good with dai, but as the show progress, we can see him slowly developing and changing, consider this show is only one month for them to know eachother, he already doing a great job, and they way Dai take care and being patience with Shun is the most beautiful thing. I wish you may have a new perspective towards Shun after watching the whole show,,
Нет он не думает что он незаменим просто сначала Шуну никто не понравился потом началось унего возникать симпатия к Даю тут те фото он увидел ,и началась перезагрузка стоит или не стоит начинать и так далее потом Ику появился унего появилась ревность он боится он хотел чтобы дай небегал заним а показал действиями свою любовь я в молодости много ревности недосказанности недопонимания гордость загоралась как спичка злилась не хотела идти на компромис никогда неизвинялась хоч и знала что неправа такой характер уже 45лет семя 4детей внуков куча и сичас учу своих дочерей чтобы они не делали как я но гены кто научится на своих ошыбках пока сами себе лоба ненабют научатся ,так и Шун ему нужна любовь ,семя,и человек который научит незамыкатся в себе а говорить зразу если что ненравится
