@@GeeztJeez i dont know, ubik could conjure up some pretty mean shit. But daiba definitely got that "ol' johnny down on the beach of Jamaica" vibes (Look up devil went to Jamaica, thats what it would be like)
Narrator breaks amiable, matter of fact tone, when recounting the righteous outrage of Rickert wielding A GODDAMN BAZOOKA to end Rakshas. I love this channel.
I’m glad y’all finally got to Daiba. He was a loyal servant to Ganishka, has some incredibly cool powers, funny commentary at times, gave Guts and company a tough fight (even when Guts had the Berserker armor on), and (with his help) saved Rickert and Erica from Rakshas. Honestly, Daiba is one of my favorites in Berserk.
With the amount of evil in the world Daiba seeing innocent children help him even though he was a stranger was enough to turn him good and have faith in the future. I low-key believe something like this will play a huge role in the end game of Berserk especially because it's a direct counter to the "Idea of Evil"
He probably is one of the most interesting characters regarding apostles I thought he was going to do horrible things when he caught the little kid but he just did grumpy old parent mode and made them do chores 🤣
theres something wonderfull to see an all powerful wizard general that can control the elements humbled and have a little girl be kind to. hopefully he's redemption ark is good. Edit: cant help but laugh loudly when the words " a god damned bazooka" are said, 2 times I've heard it and 2 times I've laughed
I always found Daibi to be more chiller than the other villains but mostly after the he got to Falconia. I prefer "Mentor" Daiba the most and I hope we have more of him. If they keep that up then he would be my favorite Berserk character as that is my favorite archetype especially with older characters.
True. I love the duality of all the characters. On one hand he was the right hand man of an emperor who is without a doubt in the top running for the most vile and monstrous characters in the manga. On the other he's an unassuming but peculiar old guy who shoos kids away
😂 you had me when you😂 said you said Rickit pulls out a goddamn bazooka😂😂 I read this chapter and I still own the manga and I've read it several times and I know this section very well but to hear someone else said it ❤😂😂❤
A very interesting video and, I must say, shows your own knowledge of Hinduism. A deeply spiritual man, but not good isn't surprising either. It should be noted a way many powerful demons will gain greater power, is by appeasing one of the great Gods in order to receive a blessing. Of course they are usually thwarted. Shiva himself, being such a usually chill guy, tends to be the followed by demons and such since he isn't afraid to associate with the less pleasant forces of the universe while still being a generally good God.
The Man Made Behelit Proof that the Berserk manga exists in Warhammer and survived 40,000 years into the future. Because an Iron Warrior Space Marine named Honsou must have read this and then said: "... BRILLIANT!"
@@adamkoxxl Same way I view most content unless its from the original creator like as a example george lucas and starwars. I only consider what he made as cannon the rest is fanfiction.
@@fistimusmaximus6576 but they know and follow how he intended to continue the story, he left them notes. It's not like they write their own story now.
@@adamkoxxl very true its just like with the idea of evil he went back and changed aswell as went slow to craft it, im sure the outline will be the same but sure certain details may have changed etc.
Spoiler, Daiba makes the moonchild his own entity, modifies the powers of guts behelit giving guts godhand powers without the sacrifice, the day is saved.
I sincerely hope berserk gets a proper live action adaptation in a form of tv series in the future with great casts, directors and producers who actually love berserk the way we do. It frustrates me so much that so many people in world are invested in DC, marvel comics and they have no clue what a masterpiece berserk truly is.
why do you want to kill berserk? name me a live action that was decent or wasn't bad that involved a lot of cgi. Kenshin and Basilisk don't count as those were just ninja movies with extra steps. If you love berserk, pray what you said doesn't happen.
@@truenaraku Yeah I know. We have never got a decent live action adaptation of any manga/anime till now. Almost every live actions were a hot garbage. However, I only said that because I want berserk to get a far greater audience/readership. Berserk haven't even got a decent enough anime adaptation yet. 1997 anime didn't even cover half of the golden age arc. Same goes for those 3 anime movies.
honestly I hope they have someone continues the manga instead of doing other adaptation though we would need someone who really good at writing world-building medieval story like Berserk... which is rare
❤❤ Kushan Empire was a real empire in India in during the first century ad this included parts of Afghanistan modern day Pakistan modern day Rajasthan Gujarat Iran Iraq Uzbekistan Kazakhstan
No, Daiba is pretty evil. He probably did more fucked up shit than most, i mean he did create a device that turns fetuses into monsters you dont get much more evil than that.
To think Beserks author passed away cause of reasons and never finished Beserk. I think it is a shame it took him so maaany years to write this. But i do think we need an ending to this. Also why the hell did the author not finished this! ages ago! what an idiot!
This is a bit off topic, but just wanted to throw out a weird theory I had and a question.. For no reason at all, a scene of Charlotte flashed in my mind and immediately after the thought hit me “wouldn’t it be wild the first time she’s exposed to the real life around her, it’s during an eclipse some sort, and the only reason she survives is bc she ends up buried beneath all the bodies of the soldiers trying to protect her, and she has to claw her way out with maybe some assistance from someone🤷🏽♀️ And that scene with Theresa always bothers me that it never came back. But I wondered, what if Theresa was basically a different version of Charlotte. The difference being she could actually do something about it to whoever she seems ruined her life, as she’s the princess and she’s with Fempto. Could she accidentally be exposed to who Fempto is thanks to Guts or Casca?
