@@rboyett well this time around i think the old engine is going to be a better engine to mod overall, the BMW B38 is too limited by modern regulations to have any advantage over a fully built 2JZ. I'm sure it's going to be easy to gain some HP with a simple remap, but it's never going to be a 800 hp engine on stock internals.

Despite all the new technology we have today, an engine as good as the 2jz won't ever be made. Too many emission regulations, and it wouldn't make sense. Nobody is developing new internal combustion engines anymore, the future is electric, sadly.

вот такую супру и надо было выпускать тойоте изначально с завода с 2jz и мощностью около 600 лс, в стоке!!! всего лишь надо было придумать ко всему этому современную коробку и все!!! и тогда бы они действительно возродили бы легенду (хотя внешность так себе) ну а в том виде в каком она продается это полное гавно!

en realidad lo único que tenía de Supra era el nombre. Ahora sí que es un verdadero Supra. Duelale a quien le duela. Preferiría dar 100.000 por un Supra con el 2JZ (3JZ o lo que sea que salga de un actualizado JZ), que pagar el nuevo BMSupra por la mitad del precio. Cuánto tiempo e inversión crees que le hubiera costado a Toyota hacer honor a sus fans y a su Leyenda?

3 choices 1) renew jza80 with same mod 2jz gtr 2) bring body jza80 to remake to facelift and swap with Lexus Motor (top ie. LFA) 3) Escalate LFA or RC F to be next legendary of Supra For this model mkv, just scrap it as environmental friendly
