Nice vid. If you have an old fashioned oiler, hand held, put some Liquid oil on the shaft. It’ll flow into the bearing housing and give you a bit more life and decrease the friction until new fan arrives. Your ac’s on that side of the world are built slightly different than our here in the USA
Those fan motors look like the typical American style motors. From what I've seen on HVACR Videos, they've got rubber plugs on each end. Chris says you're supposed to pull the plugs out of the bottom of the motor so any moisture can weep out - as they're not completely sealed like the typical big induction motors we use for indoor fans and all that jazz. This particular motor had a weep hole at the bottom already without any rubber plugs inserted. I’ve seen the style you’re referring to though. I don’t use them very often, but definitely something to keep in mind. Love watching HVACR VIDEOS. Learnt a lot from watching his stuff. It’s a great resource.
