This just goes to show how much more open and accepting the Japanese car scene is..you'd probably never see such a diverse lineup of cars over here in the U.S. You'd probably be laughed at and be the brunt of jokes on social media if you showed up to any sort of car event with a "Bosozoku" style Toyota or a heavily customized van with a trunk filled with speakers and neon lights.. It's cool to see things like the Bosozoku Mark II's and full on Wangan spec cars in the same parking lot as full blown show cars and lifted trucks.

I couldn't agree with you more. You get the sense that a lot of the owners in Japan are passionate and not aggressive or clique'y as the car scene in America. Most people in America wouldn't understand the Japanese style of modification.

In general they can host more show and meets because they don't destroy and do burnouts to the area , they show off thier cars then proble have a cruise after. In the us we could have more show and meets if people respected the places that host them

That place is "Daikoku PA" on the "Shutoko Metropolitan Expressway" at Yokohama, Kanagawa-ken, Japan.PA means Parking Area in Japan, the same with Rest Area in US and Service Area in UK.Shuto Ko is not freeway and you need to pay some, but not much expensive.Check out the below and I recommend you to be there either "Friday Night" or "Saturday Night". But if you're more intersted in Modern Luxury and Classic Cars like Skyline GT-R (R32, 33, and 34), RX-7 (FD3S,etc) Ferrari, Lambo, and many others, recommend u to come daytime during the entire weekend.Those owners are more gentle and friendly. www.shutoko.co.jp/english/drive/map/

Maybe. I don't use a DSLR to shoot and those gimbals are massive. There are a bunch for gopros and cell phones, but the quality isn't that good and battery life is always an issue (along with audio issues). Definitely interested though!
