unrelated but here in this town in Germany we have a 30kmh speed limit on this part of the street here with an additive "noise protection" (meant for drivers to not purposefully cause noise by revving high) and neither are actually enforced. people will hit the redline going 50, not to mention the dozen motorcycles and tractors
