**The Power of God's Glory and Judgment.

*1. 2 Corinthians 3: The Glory of the New Covenant*
Paul contrasts the Old and New Covenants, revealing that the old, given through Moses, was glorious, yet fading, symbolized by Moses' veiled face. However, the New Covenant, brought through Christ, is far superior. It is a covenant of the Spirit, bringing life and transforming believers "from glory to glory" (v.18). The Spirit gives freedom, and through this freedom, we are progressively changed into the likeness of Christ. This passage reminds us that as believers, we now have direct access to God and are being transformed through the Spirit.
The New Covenant in Christ offers unparalleled freedom and lasting transformation, far surpassing the old ways of the law.

*2. 2 Kings 3: Divine Deliverance in the Midst of Crisis*
In 2 Kings 3, we witness the coalition of Israel, Judah, and Edom facing the rebellious Moabites. With no water in the desert, King Jehoshaphat turns to Elisha for God's intervention. Elisha prophesies that God will provide water without rain and deliver the Moabites into their hands. This miraculous deliverance shows God's ability to provide in impossible situations. The battle is won through divine intervention, proving that victory comes not by might but by God's will.
Even in times of desperation, God remains a source of deliverance, turning hopeless situations into victories through His power.

*3. Nahum 1-3: The Pronouncement of God's Judgment on Nineveh*
The Book of Nahum vividly depicts God’s judgment against the city of Nineveh, the capital of Assyria, known for its brutality and oppression. In chapter 1, Nahum declares the Lord as a "jealous and avenging God" (v.2), emphasizing His justice. In chapters 2 and 3, the prophecy details the downfall of Nineveh, describing how its walls will be breached, its people scattered, and its power obliterated. The descriptions of violence and destruction highlight God’s intolerance toward unchecked wickedness.
However, amid judgment, Nahum also reveals God’s character as "slow to anger and great in power" (Nahum 1:3). He is a refuge for those who trust Him, offering hope to the oppressed.
While God’s justice brings judgment to the wicked, He remains a stronghold for those who seek refuge in Him. His judgments are righteous and executed with perfect wisdom.
