Thank for posting the video. Two questions. At 7:28 you said the front axle runs a thicker oil. My owner manual and the service manual I purchased both say that the front axle runs the same Permatran 821 as the rear. Are you using 821 in the front or something else? Also at 11:15, were you really able to grease the hydrostat pedal zerk? I had to back my zerk out a little bit to get grease to go in. It seemed like the fit was so tight that the inside tip of the zerk was pressed tight against the inner sleeve that the pedals pivot on. I'm thinking of shaving the inside tip of that zerk down just a bit so I don't have to loosen it every time I grease. Thoughts?

I didn't purchase my 1723e from PR Equipment. After about a year, the nut on the loader hydraulic control handle had one of the nuts fall off so the loader would not go up and down. When I took off the rubber boot on the joystick, I see that the second lock washer and nut was loose. The up/down was missing the nut and washer. I installed a lock nut on both of the up/down and dump/drop valve bolts.

So how often , or when do I need to use 4 wheel drive ? and should I use low or high speed ?

Any tips on seeing that sight glass with the backhoe attached? I’m guessing I’ll need to get an inspection mirror.

Own a 10 year old MF GC2400, Greese & Service it myself regularly normally 3 times yearly, just took it to dealer for good servicing and check hydraulic system since it has lost hydraulic power. The ball joints boots was torn off, dealer says it needs new ball joints and they are $600 just for the ball joints plus around $200 labor. Does this sound like the right cost or are they high balling the price ?
