Big hugs sweetheart. NICU nurses are the best, the ones taking care of my teeny tiny (now 4 yr old) then newborn where absolute rockstars! I could not have made it through that first few days without them, I can only imagine how thankful your newbie parents are to have an amazing soul like you taking care of their babies. Well 9 is just an upside down 6 anyways...lol. I kept thinking as I was watching the past video that you would catch your mistake but you stayed strong on the # 6. Happy belated birthday you young chickadee!!! Time flies by so quickly, I'll be 55 this year and I simply can't believe it. Soooo crazy....so enjoy each and every moment. My cousin has a newborn that is in critical condition. It's amazing nurses like you that help them! Emma Grace has a long road ahead of her but their faith and the amazing team helps them so much. So thank you for all you do!!!!

Thanks for sharing - every time I watch you journal I want to journal myself. I imagine your job can be super stressful at time but if I were a mama, I’d want you to be my baby’s nurse. oxoxo
Enjoyed watching you create your pages. I wish I could get that many done so quickly (I’m sure you cut of it out, but still amazing!) Love that llama sticker and how you added your birthday items. You just have the best pages and videos. And I’m sure you are a blessing to those babies and their families.
God bless you, Emily! When you described bath night in the NICU it took me back to the soft lights, the quiet and rocking the babies while feeding them. My heart hurt for you describing your bad night in contrast. You have a tough job, but one where you can be a big blessing to those families. I will pray that God will strengthen you when the struggle is real.

Wow you did a great job catching up!! When you said you and Michael had date night at Costco I laughed my husband and I do that too I think that’s what happens when your old and married 😂 but I’m quite content with that. The kids were so sweet to for your presents 🎁 and those cute little weasels 🥰

It had been a hot minute since you posted a video? It had been a hot minute since I was able to watch videos! Watching you this morning as I prepare for my work day was perfect! Agreed...who doesn’t love a good rebirth or do-over!?! With all of the lunacy happening in my job, every morning is a new opportunity to start again! Lol...😆 Loved the “woohoo” today! I support 10 preschools, and I have many of the same feelings you touched on. Sometimes I question why we continue to do what we do at my schools. Is it truly good enough because it doesn’t seem to get any easier! It’s been such a year!!!🤪😔😬after a series of that negative thinking, I remind myself, that I need to show up each and every day with love and positivity! We are there for the kiddos and they are learning and they are happy! Our families are grateful! I need to remind my principals and all the teachers that same message each day! It may not always feel good, but we are doing great things as long as we are present with smiles, joy, and grace! We just need to do our best!
