I've been daily driving my VW Sand Rail through downtown Denver this past year. Theres pros and cons to it, but overall way more pros. Its been a blast. I think my dog enjoys it aswell. #sandrail#dunebuggy#dailydriven
You are a lucky man! Here in Italy (and in all Europe), there is absolutely no way to drive a similar car on the street. No way to be registered for home-made cars. I have a '69 VW-based Sandrail, and the only drive i could do, is into the green around my home... or go to a static meeting with the car on a trailer.😭
@@SirDrifto Well, luckily we still have a bit of freedom left in the states- if it's loopholes for recreational vehicles rarely driven or just lax enforcement of the laws, for now we can get away with this kind of thing. But, everyday our government is either making new laws or enforcing the laws already on the books(with the help of technology also). I've the impression that laws are more strictly enforced in Europe.
Its not street legal.. No windshield or wiper. No taillights ir brake lights. I assume it dosent have a horn either. No Having a vin number dosent make it street legal. How you got a plate for it i have no idea. Stat police will have a feild day with you.
Do you have a speedometer in it? Do you have to have one where you are I could never get away with not having one where I live the police would be all over it.
