I am surprised day by day west is coming over to India and we Indians want to follow west, we seem to be forgetting what was in our blood and seem to be going for distressed jeans and pizzas and pasta..

@@alenscevis1569 I remember there were few students who stayed more than 2-3 years. But they were learning something.... And in the ashram, you need to clean ur dishes, room, clothes, help in the cooking, etc = Karma-yoga.

I have very nice experience for all the courses,teachers & teaching techniques. This aashram & its surrounding is complementary to yoga. Small & important things are systematically explain by Mandalik guruji through lectures & books. Cow dung contains menthol, indols, ammonia, phenols, formalin, etc. There isn't any kind of science here.

The only key to all the present world-wide rises is just practicing "Yajnagni Kriyayoga Sadhana" which strengthens society not only physically but also spiritually and it educates moral values and the original characteristics as defined in the ancient "VEDAS".So,one should learn YOGA for moulding one's life better
Enroll for any course that you like and complete that course in the ashram, once you get the flow of it and if you are willing to find the peace by following ashram's rituals, basically Karmayoga, then you can be part of ashram anytime. 😊 my experience of living there is amazing.

I am planning to go to India to study yoga from the beginning, the basic and the theory the meditation. so i am looking for a good ashram that will teach me all of that. from the basic cause i am a beginner. is someone here knows a place and can recommend me please? thank you :)
Galina Koifman to be safe either ask your fellow country men who learnt yoga in india abt where they learnt yoga in india or checkout yoga in mysore (karnataka) or in Rishikesh .mysore and rishikesh are yoga hubs in india and there are many westerners in mysore learning yoga you will be safe and feel homely and will have many people in touch from your country in your stay similarly in rishikesh. mysore and rishikesh and surrounding areas are very good tourist places with good surroundings wild life and resorts in near by places my suggestion is mysore and rishikesh safety plus good environment plus you got many people from your own country also may be

genuine ashram's will just follow principle's and discipline of age old indian schooling style called gurukul , to where children were sent and stay there few years to come's out as perfect being , just like we see in some chinese kungfu movies .
