The day is not far when a Buddha will come up from west practicing Yoga. Last time I saw news when a disabled who couldn't walk practiced Yoga and healed himself and now can walk. This news was about this person from USA. I love how world is growing on spiritual path. I was not into Yoga but last year onwards I practice daily as I see advantages myself. I was able to escape tonsils operations with Yoga. I wish I could join Ashrama some day but man responsibilities. :(
To my understanding, Yoga means ......." Unification of Body, Mind and Soul". It aligns the body & mind with Soul (both individual Soul and Cosmic Soul) without any other thoughts from the 5 senses during the period. Thus, Yoga is the only key to Hindu's Spiritual path. All the 4 types of Yogas ( Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, Gyan Yoga, Raja Yoga) direct human mind to The Supreme Being, that is….. Unifications (i) in the form of Bhakti (Surrender & devotion), (ii) Karma/Seva (any human activity serving in the workplace/market/home having good will in the name of God for the welfare of humanity, all living beings & nature), (iii) Gyan yoga (seeking spiritual knowledge and experiencing the same), Raja yoga (Meditation). People have invented different types of meditational form of Yogas. Of all these yogas, Bhakti Yoga occupies the highest place. It is the easiest and most effective Yoga form, suitable for every common people. Kirtan, Bhajan or any divine songs are the main part of Bhakti Yoga. Without Bhakti, nothing works. Any person can choose anyone of these 4 according to their tastes, but combination of all is the best. All these 4 Yoga Forms (prescribed in Vedic scriptures including Bhagavat Gita) control, educate and discipline the human mind which is of turbulent nature and it removes all the negative thoughts thereby attaining the highest peace, joys & love. To understand “Who am I and to experience Its Being” is in the core of this path leading to spiritual fulfillment. This invisible force (Individual and Cosmic soul) govern the whole “ Time, Space & Causation Phenomena” of the Universe. This material universe is the manifestation of this Cosmic Soul which is called God. Thus, while God is seen in every objects (manifested), in Gods realm, there is no Time, Space and Causation. Whole objects of the Universe are floating in the Ocean of This Absolute Conscious Being. This is the Absolute Truth, Absolute Consciousness(Intelligence) & Absolute Bliss (ever expanding) -----“Sat Chita Ananda”. This is One, Infinite, Space-less, Time-less. Where there is no Time and Space, there is no Cause & Effect (causation). This is the Ultimate Reality. All others are temporary or Maya.
