I never ever worry about what's in fashion. I ONLY wear shorts and a short sleeved shirt or a T-shirt, and I have a cheap pair of jeans I've had for several years. Fashion is for the rich and the ignorant. Love You Anastasia! Yet another Beautiful item of clothing You made!!
BEAUTIFUL ALL-ROUND!!! 🎉 You could sell your beautiful creations and market them as clothes you made from clothes you bought at the op shop. You could sell your beautiful cakes too. At your own pace, maybe draw a name from the people who want one. GOOD JOB ALL ROUND!!! WELL DONE!!!
Hello from the rocky mid-coast of Maine, US. I was hatched in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada in 1952. The re-purposed denim looks great. Thanks for the Print which arrived just now. Saturday, May 4th, 2024

Hello Anastasia, Julia and Mother. Another enjoyable episode of your lives in the jungle. I'm very much a fan of making things last and especially, repairing things, to extend their life. As a man, I don't do fashion, so I buy clothes which will give me good service over many years. I have two pairs of shoes - one Black, one Brown - which are both over 20 years old and although a bit 'Down at Heel', are still very comfortable. Well worth every penny I paid for them. I also have a a few Jackets which are still going strong after 30-plus years and many of my shirts are also very old. I haven't bought any clothes since 2012. The trick, is to buy Quality, which will last a long time. I love the new Denim dress, even though I've never been a fan of Denim, despite it's hard-wearing practicality. Fashion! Who needs it? Create your own fashion or style, as you do. Much Love, Russ xxx
You and your sisters interaction with your animals is truly inspirational. The way they all follow you both shows so much love and trust. As a retired cabinet maker I love your attention to detail when making a new garment look like a piece of art. Those denim squares match with such precision.
Love your philosophy and I attempt to practice much of it in my daily life. It makes me sad that we as a civilization, are not thinking of future generations.
Hi there I just wanted to say I love your denim patchwork skirt . I used to wear jeans the same back in the 70s you could make me a pair lol . Your videos are awesome as always lots of love ❤ frank

Chapeau bas les filles !!! Il y en a de moins en moins qui font de la couture. Petite sujétion pour recycler de jeans. Il est possible de fabriquer avec le fessier des sacs à mains. Une amie fait cela et ça ce vent bien.
How about Bathing and Grooming LOL JK. I actually love your videos as they are. So calming and relaxing too watch what it's like to get back too and remain in touch with nature.

You are completely right about using our cloths past their time, I purchased what cloths I liked, and needed many years ago, and I don't believe I will ever have to buy any again, ever. Very nice crafted dress, do you think it might be to warm to use there?
Have actually visited a denim factory in Texas and the Working environment you describe was no part of this factory. not sure if you are quoting in general or if you are referring to a specific Denim company. As a whole the garnet industry pushes trends just to keep you buying so I totally agree with your thoughts there. I homestead and I have six boxes of Jeans that I repurpose across the homestead. The leg of a pair of jeans make a great holster for a rifle. Repurpose of jeans make beautiful "broom skirts" and more. I have four tool bags that I made from jeans. the pockets are for small tools and the big pocket is for larger tools. You can put a leather strap through the belt loops at the top and they hold a tape measure, holster for pliers and more. Next project is to make a 5 gallon bucket tool holder out of jeans.
In my case, I had to buy three new pairs of jeans because a few of mine were ripping out along the inside of the pants along the seems. Then there are some where the back pockets are starting to come off. My grandmothers (both of them) would sew patches on the jeans which at the time was frown upon as being poor. Sadly, the trend is to buy the jeans already torn for whatever the reason. Have any of you ladies found an injured bird or creature in the forest and wanted to help it recoup?
I fear if that injured bird was me cause I know for sure with the kind of thought you have in your right now /// ain't gonna do any better or helpful to that bird infact I would rather die with those injuries if that bird was ,me instead of commiting suicide by asking your help
OMG those lemons and pecans are GINORMOUS! I certainly agree with the denim issues. I don't purchase newly produced denim anymore. I thrift store shop for clothing these days...except for socks, undies and shoes. I usually cut up my worn-out jeans for rags for cleaning, painting, etc. I understand that many beekeepers use denim scraps in their smoke cans when maintaining their hives as well. Julia's fluid painting strokes are so lusciously dreamy. Cheers Ladies. PS, Is the reason your goat housing is elevated due to predators or soil wetness?
Indigo dye is an organic compound with a distinctive blue color. Indigo is a natural dye extracted from the leaves of some plants of the Indigofera genus, in particular Indigofera tinctoria. This is what they use to color denim.
14:36 If was close to you, I'd commission you to make me a really cool long jacket out of all the old jeans I have stashed away, hoping I could fit into them again someday 🤣 But I really like that skirt you made. Very cool 😎😎👍🏾
Another successful dress denam. I wonder when they will use hemp.not maryguanana. Hemp witch is really good material and grows everywhere. But not good for grug use.too different things.really nice dress by the way.
