I understand the assumption that being alone for a woman could be dangerous, but this is so much safer than most urban environments. People at campgrounds are usually very nice and she is creating a lower stress situation for herself and her son. Beats what many single Moms have to do in a day.
Your concern just shows you have a good heart. I agree with some of the others who commented on your post. I have always felt safer in a campground setting or the wilderness than in the urban areas I live in. But there are dangers everywhere. She seems more competent than a lot of young folks these days.
When little man said "Your'e the best mom ever!" That just warmed my heart. He sees the work your putting in with him. Keep it up the best is yet to come
One thing I urge is that you get window curtains that aren't translucent... Having curtains that display light from within your van, will cause interest for inquiry from passersby outside. Moreover, at night ---- the smallest pinhole of light coming through your windows, can be seen from miles away... Hence, possibly causing unwanted visitors... Just a little tidbit for stealth camping!👍

I’m a teacher and this is so refreshing. I love the way that you speak to your son and they way that he speaks to you; sounds so intelligent, soft spoken, and with beautiful manners. You’re doing such a beautiful job with this baby and giving him such beautiful life experiences. Kudos to you mom!

@@chaco131 thats incorrect sir. Litteraly a teacher commented on this video and said good job. Cps can not take ur kids for living under a bridge. This woman has a home. There is plenty of space for the child. He plays outside like a normal kid (like we used to when we were kids). He's not a desensitized screen scroller like the rest of our kids.
I had social services involvement for a different reason, but I can agree with this teacher, they won't take him for this. However, IF he had this going on and abuse or neglect or if the van or lifestyke wasn't set up with him in mind, then that's a different story.
If the government doesn’t care about homeless people living on the street then who cares about a mother taking care of her kid. I’m tempting to start living this life as well as a single mom.

I have an idea you should put up a collapsible partition between you and your sons sleeping areas. That way he can feel like he has his own little room. He could even decorate it with some of his favorite pictures he paints.
Yes. I agree. I've never ever been an advocate of parents sleeping with their children. Not should , rather must have separation between your sleeping arrangements. Simply not a healthy environment. Isn't it about time to put him in day care to learn social skills? The whole van life doesn't seem quite healthy for either of you. Just my point of view.
A propane stove - 3 minute showers - Survival of the fittest - You are really making Van life work as a Single Mom in the Forest. I love the bond you have with your son. I can see you are his best friend ;-)

This is absolutely beautiful! I’m a single of a very handsome 2 year old boy and this idea has been at the top of my list! Especially with everything becoming so expensive! We both absolutely love the outdoors so I think this is a wonderful idea!❤️

Watching this reminds me how much i use to travel with my son. I love looking at our old pictures now that he is a teenager he is finding his own path which i 100% encourage. At least i know the seeds planted at when he was your sons age i know will groom and grow him into greatness.
I wish i had done this with my children. The world is so crazy today. Im a 71 yr old greatgrandma and what the world is teaching our chilren today has me horrified. I had a extended family member who did this in the late 1990’s and CPS took her 2 kids. Because it wasn’t appropriate. How times have changed.. You two are beautiful and your son is so respectful.❤
