Sports/well-being content creator are usually so inspirational that it has been a real heartbreak to see so many of them NOT boycotting, NOT speaking up, still living in their little bubbles like nothing matters but themselves, just not doing anything for what's right... You might think it's nothing, but as someone who has been looking for sports content (and any kind of content really) with heartfelt messages and care about the world, I really appreciate your message. And you know at the end of the day, when you speak up for what's right, even though you might face obstacles and hate, you are still doing what's right, and the right people will feel so much better thanks to you. Bro you're literally holidaying in Indonesia where there was a genocide of 1 million people and because of wealthy countries taking advantage of it people can live luxurious lives in Bali while locals struggle, where is the recognition of Indonesia's history??
I’ve been going to Indonesia for years and years and have always given back to the community. I’ve been to orphanages, drove out to tiny communities to donate clothes / items, helped out locals ALWAYS where I can and lucky enough to have a number of locals who my family are very close with and help year after year build up their businesses. Tourism is what saves locals so they can actually make somewhat of an income. There might be people who don’t help out those suffering but I am not one of them.
