I would recommend getting a trainer for your bike! I can’t ride outside year round where I live and it has made me much stronger and confident on outdoor rides since I get to practice without the stress of traffic or planning a route. They’re also great for workouts! I ride the trainer for workouts and outdoors for long or fun rides
As a tip for cycling☺️: Just put the pedals on “very light”, so you can clip in and out very easily. Then once you get more comfortable with it, you can make it tighter. It does take some getting use to, you just cannot forget that youre clipped in😅
For cycling, to not make it overwhelming, I’ll give you a few basic beginner tips: 1.) Always make sure your chain is properly lubed. 2.) Make sure your tire pressure is dialed. You can google the Silca tire pressure calculator to find your ideal pressure. 3.) If you go clipless, I recommend practicing on a flat clear path or road, and practice clipping in and out. It may seem daunting at first, but trust me, after a little time you’ll get used to it. 4.) Work on making sure your bike fit is dialed in. This would be saddle height, saddle forward/back (fore/aft), and cleat position with clipless pedals. All of this is widely available to get details on right on RU-vid. This is how I learned. Just a suggestion, perhaps join a triclub in your area. Enrol for a beginners program. You meet like minded people that can give you a world of knowledge/advice. It will give you that boost of confidence too. Enjoying your channel X
on strava you can see local cycling groups/ women’s ride groups! As a mtb rider I’d definitely recommend, riding with experienced people is a game changer for your progress. Youre doing amazing 🥰🩷

Awesome effort. From someone who has just done an Ironman and lots of endurance races I would definitely recommend eating way more. For a ride that long you should eat a higher carbohydrate breakfast before going out and try to have around 60g carbs per hour. 1 dates is 5gs carb and 1 lolly is around 10g. I’m not a nutritious but this will help with your hunger after

I was losing the same toe nail everytime it grew back 🙄 got a foot scan done at athletes foot and I was wearing a slightly wrong shoe and size. Has made a big difference. You’re gonna smash your Ironman!!!! I did my first in 2017 and now training for my fifth half - look out it’s addictive 🤣 (but I’m a slow poke!! But still love it!)

Since I have started watching this channel I've lost 6kg and made the army running time when I was WAY OFF it. Honestly, it's like, the day I set my goals youtube showed me this channel and I threw it on. It's really helped to have somebody with their own goals training alongside me, because there are always times when you feel like a piece of shit, or you should be doing more or you're not making any progress so it's useful to have a person along side you in a sense.
