2024 boutta bee movie (with Jerry Seinfeld) no weed / quitting weed go outside if you do want to smoke weed all day erryday, I do understand you. Been there, done that.
Everyone is different, 40 plus year user. What you say is truth. Many don't want to here. When I wake and bake. I stop and ask myself why I feel the need to feel sedated all day. Its habit forming break the habit, to much of anything is no good, It's not easy to stop or take a tolerance break over the years I have done many times. I choose to do so let your body learn to do without. After a break, it can be a week or 6 months I try do only after 4 micro dosing works for me and my ADHD, I am a advocate for feeling good ✌ I all ways end up back with Mary Jane
In my 10+ years of using cannabis and observing the people around me that use cannabis I find that normal doses amplify the psychological characteristics of whoever is using it, for better or for worse. The folks that develop problems with weed, or avoid weed entirely after trying it or using it before, seem to have unaddressed childhood traumas or psychiatric issues. Even with myself it has forced me to confront negative aspects of my psyche, which was very frightening to say the least. If weed is causing you problems then you may need to take a look inwards to figure out what negative aspect of yourself is being projected into reality whenever you use it.
thank you man! i love the feeling of a weed-free day or week. it seriously keeps a person grounded imo. might treat it moreso as a treat like junk food. the honestly is great dude.
Welcome! I am glad you enjoyed. Exactly- ease into moderation. The more time off, the more you can get comfortable and enjoy the obvious benefits of sobriety. Keep at it!
I have a problem with the stoners that act as if what this man is saying is untrue ! See I have been a heavy smoker for years no and even tho I won’t quit today I am not gonna deny the facts! Everything in excess is bad for you no matter how good it temporarily makes you, if you can’t admit the negative effects of everyday weed consumption and call this man names for just trying to inform you of the negative affects everyday cannabis use has and act as if they are not true then you are crazy! I would be way further in my life and way more motivated if it wasn’t for weed weed has held me back so much starting from high school and the fact I haven’t quit yet even bewilders me, when you start smoking everyday deep down you know it’s not right and if you keep ignoring that feeling then you will become stuck in this loop of always needing a high just to feel normal as he says! If I don’t smoke for a day I won’t be able to eat or sleep how is that normal ? If you drink everyday people call you an alcoholic if you smoke everyday you’re just a lost as an alcoholic even though it’s not as bad for you it’s still not right for you to feel as if you need something just to get by when you were depressed as a kid you would face it how come adult you can’t handle that ! I just wanna say everyone is stronger then you think no one needs weed or anything to get by when you have yourself ❤
Smoked since 82....last 7 yrs edz...200+ mg...nightly...😮...quit almost a month...done with it...I pray 😊...God bless all on their paths...you can do it. Amen.
I definitely agree, had that aphiny the day before new years. I smoked yesterday but it was only 3 or 4 small 1/4 filled bowls, which is an improvement from smoking almost an 1/8th a day. I don't care what anyone says this stuff is addictive, this will be my 2nd T break. I'm currently made a promise to myself to never buy weed and to only grow my own(which i am). I want to make it mid February before i smoke again. Or at the very least the next two weeks. Even with a 1 week break I got high with one hit which shocked me. For now i'll smoke cbg kief from Fern Valley Farms and eventually get a vaporizer to preserve my health. Will I quit? Probably not but i'll try to stick to the weekends and only ONE a session. Goodluck!
Progress can come slow, keep at it! Thinking about your year as a sport record can help. For example, if you've smoked once this year (as of Jan 8th), your record would be 6-1. Keep it positive! Good luck and godspeed
It is slowing me down that's the point I'm so ADD I can't get anything done until I slow down a little. I also have a lot of anxiety which makes me nauseous without it I will barely eat and feel horrible. To me it's no different than taking any of the many pharmaceuticals my doctor wants me to take multiple times a day. I get some people have no self control but that doesn't mean we are all like you.
That's why I put 'may be' in the title. If it helps you survive, use it. Many people are taking my thoughts on drug use personally- that's the misstep.
I've had my medical card for over two years. This video is for people who think they could use weed responsibly, but then things change. Don't know who you're trying to convince. If it works for you and improves your quality of life, great. I'm not you, you're not me. @@andrewcutting4763
I deal with high anxiety and felt the weed was my medication.Oh boy was I wrong, one big thing I realized when I quit weed was that it was making my anxiety 100 times worst. This is the lie addiction tells you.
Your friend has to want to quit. Can't change someone who is unwilling to change! Be a good example and let them figure it out. If it is truly inhibiting their life, they will see it.
As a former weed smoker of 40 years, this weed of today is not the same as when i smoked. This is processed weed full of chemicals including pesticides and the thc is way to high. They strip out the cbd in order to get high thc thus so many are having mental issues and become addicted. The vape pens and carts are another example of a thc delivery system full of chemicals.Thank god im of this garbage.
Always get these videos of people capping up the ass. The key is too find happiness sober then when you smoke it only makes it better. Much like booze moderation is key. However some people can handle it every day without it affecting them and thats ok too
You will still return to your green friend. It might take a while, but you'll be back. The problem is not in the plant, but in childhood traumas. Perhaps you just need to reach the bottom and have a bodily feeling that all this is game...
I don't believe that he ever said there was anything wrong with the plant. It's just with time you learn that some people's bodies start reacting to substances differently especially as you grow older and certain things just don't give you the same effect as they once did when you were younger. There's nothing wrong with that just as there's nothing wrong with choosing to partake. The point is, you shouldn't have to feel guilty just for changing it up if you find it affecting you in a negative way. However, if you don't have any issues with the herbage by all means, light it up. I think that's his point.
I'm 19 and last year I smoked weed everyday. I've decided to quit and I did so a day or two before Christmas as I was having trouble with anxiety and constant paranoia. I felt slow, dumb and couldn't function properly. My social anxiety was through the roof. I did nothing but smoke weed and play video games. As you've stated, once you start smoking to feel normal, you become dependent. All I thought about in the last 2 months of smoking was how much I wanted to consume and how much I wanted to stop consuming at the same time. I was stuck in a conflict with my own self and to feel better for the moment I would smoke only to regret it a few hours later. I knew it wouldn't get any better unless I stopped, and to hide this thought, I smoked more. Endless loop. But I'm glad I jumped out of it. If anybody relates, I suggest you do the same. Stay healthy and happy 2024!
I am glad to hear you recognized what was off. It can turn into that addiction/dependency so quickly! At your age especially it is very wise to stay away for awhile. You do the same! Keep at it. Forward progress!
For the last week or so I have been contemplating of having a break and now our algorithmic overlords have decided to give me this video so I might as well see that as a sign haha. Thanks for the motivation!
This is exactly why I stopped smoking about 10 years ago. I still will smoke some when I'm on vacation or what have you. But I got too much to do and too many things to think about to waste all my time sitting on the couch high as hell and being slow. I do enjoy it, but most of the time I can't justify the time off of life to do it.
Just like anything you need to know your limits and be responsible. Smoking to just smoke you'll feel a need to keep smoking. smoking to relax or for other medical reasons is a bit different than the people who are out there bragging about smoking an OZ a week or etc. Your body becomes reliant on anything you consume that often. You just need to be able to self-assess your own body and see if your schedule of smoking is helping or hurting you. But what you're saying is just your personal experience and not a scientifically proven side effect of smoking marijuana there are plenty of people who can and do operate perfectly fine on it. It also comes down to what are you smoking? is it street weed you just picked up? is it something that's going to couch lock you in the middle of an afternoon and make you not want to do anything? Or is it something that's going to give you an energetic boost and help your mind go into spaces it may normally not such as increase your creative ability. There are so many factors into this than what you're displaying. It seems as if it hasn't worked out for you and that's fine, it is no different than someone who finds drinking not right for them. Assess your body, your situation and current state of your life and find out what's best for you. Smoking while you're unemployed and wondering why you aren't going anywhere probably isn't going to be the best move. Now if you have a good job or your life is in a place of content state, and you smoke as a relaxation use or just because you enjoy being high I would be willing to bet you aren't suffering from the common "lack of motivation" effect people claim marijuana has. It is something that alters your brains current state due to chemical reaction, if your brain is already in a sad or not content state it isn't going to help. Like you saying you smoked during covid well depression and mental health issues were at an all time high during covid due to lockdowns so depending on your experience during that can also be a factor in how marijuana makes you feel. Be responsible, do your research and self reflect. It isn't for everyone, but it in no way is a blanket effect you make it seem from smoking. Everyone's body reacts differently that's the beauty of it and the responsibility of it. My wife doesn't smoke because she feels too slow, no matter if its a sativa or indica so she doesn't. I on the other hand feel fine when I smoke because its normally at the end of my day when im relaxing or if in the afternoon if it is a weekend. Having set times when you smoke can also help you and not harm you like you stated especially with controlling how much you smoke. Reality of it is, we wont know until it gets knocked down on the FDAs list and they actually do official studies not just private university studies. Thats my ted talk.
All long-term stoners who are honest with themselves completely agree w/ what you've said, I'm sure. At over a lb in '23, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to take my regular tolerance/normalization breaks. The current state of the world surely doesn't help. Maybe I'll take this month off, thanks for the nudge.
Thanks 🙏 im with u .i say know after 20+ years, I feel good 👍 take care of yourself people life is good with out weed and alcohol 🍺, respect your Brain 🧠 ✌️
Thank you for this Maxx! I had no idea you'd make something like this, but I appreciate the time you took to make it, I kinda needed this but I've know for a while I've needed to cut the shit here's to a fruitful and bountiful 2024 weedless(mostly weedless for me) and also some sick ass drum grooves
