I agree I like anything OG dragon ball so for me this is cool, although I just hate the setting they were wished to kids in, I feel like that’s mainly what throws people off it just looks so colorful like a kids only version of dragon ball super but I know it’s not 😂. Other than that there’s not much of an issue for me. I can see what gets peoples brains to turn away from it and that’s probly 1 of them.

daimia is confirmed to have happedn 6 months after the majin buu saga this means that it happens way before dragonball super start I found this information from dragonball damia episode 2 1:26

Technically it happens one year after the defeat of Kid Buu. 6 months after Kid Buu’s death, The Z fighters make a wish on the Dragon balls using that wish to erase the memory of Fat Buu being evil, so he can live a normal life. In The Buu Arc, Goten is 7, Trunks is 8. In Daima Trunks is 9, meaning Goten is 8. I wish they focus more on Goten. He needs more shine.

I think the artificial saiyan idea is very possible! Toyotaro created a fan manga called DragonBall AF back in the day, and one of the big plotlines was an evil kai creating an artificial kai/saiyan hybrid using Goku's DNA named Xicor. Since Toyotaro is now on the official writing team it's possible he would reimagine that idea in this way.

He was chosen to be the guardian’s assistant and mentor. 11:23 - It has been explicitly shown in Daizenshu that the demon realm is a part of universe 7, so the universe 6 Namekians are probably from Universe 6’s demon realm. 13:45 - don’t forget about the first seen demon king, Shula. He could be Glorio’s boss.

Like it or not, toriyama hated the serious fighting bullshit. He made DBD to bring things back to formula ( dragon ball/ buu saga ). He vastly preferred the goofy and childlike nature. You can like an artist. You can’t say “the artist had the wrong vision” This is toriyamas final vision. Enjoy.

I feel bad as a DB fanboy and with respect to Toriyama I want to like Diama, but I was so bored and frankly irritated by the first episode. Maybe it's my undying hate for gt but I really hate the kid wish. Frankly it seems like a cheap cop out, and it just doesn't cook like the goku black, TOP, Granola, and Moro arcs did.

Yes, the Demon realm is separate from the universes, when Gomah is traveling, he has to say what universe he was going to and the closest "spawn point" (just using this because I dont remember what they called it) to earth, anyways it wouldn't be farfetched as Heaven and Hell are also separate from the universes
