According to the band, DakhaBrakha is old Ukrainian for give and take, which the band takes to heart in their communal interplay. Vesna is spring, the song is about calling for spring after a long winter. They've lots of songs and concerts on RU-vid give them a listen. They are the most unique, brilliant band I've ever heard, and I've been listening to music seriously since the Beatles era.

I love all the songs of Dakhabrakha, but this one is literally my favourite. Ukraine has a big culture of calendar songs. There are songs for numerous winter holidays, harvest songs, sowing songs, songs about summer, autumn and especially spring. This one is spring song, the one that welcomes the spring and praises it. After long, cold and hungry winter the beginning of the spring was the time of warmth, light and life in all its forms. So Ukrainians welcomed it with ritualistic songs that were sang only by young women. The spring songs make me tear up every time, cause they tell me that no matter how bad everything is, how cold, tired or ill I am right now, eventually the spring will come and bring sun, birds, green leaves, blooming cherry trees and warmth.
