Anyone that is cruel and abusive to pets and animals is not “awesome”. She may have been talented for her time, but must have mental issues to be that cruel.
@@nuckinfutz3336 The article you're referencing, or the rumors you're referencing, are not factual. If you look at the court record, the truth was discovered. Bozzio's pets were in the 'care' of someone else, who did not do their job. It was in a New Hampshire court. Look at the court records. She was not abusive to animals.
I love Dale more each new interview I see of her: she doesn't talk shit about others ,takes responsibility for herself and is so humble for being an icon . You are beloved Dale,on so many levels for so many reasons ,for all you have done and for all you continue to give of yourself to others.
Watching this video I fell in love with Dale Bozzio like I did back in 1982 when i 1st heard Missing Person. Dale has a beautiful soul and a wonderful person.
Some people responding here just don't know. Anything. I can't even begin. You know who you are..... Get outta here and take up championship checkers or something!
I met her at a club she played back in Sacramento in the late 90s, where she signed my “Colour In Your Life” LP. A kind and sweet lady, she’s the real deal.
@New wave was pop, pop isn’t a genre it’s a category. Pop originally is an acronym for Popular, Pop-ular. Any genre that is the most popular is considered pop.איוון@
@@inkblack6256 wrong! She was on 4 Frank Zappa records and Missing Persons was not shitty 80s disposable pop with ex-Zappa musicians like Terry Bozzio, Warren Cuccurullo and Patrick O'Hearn writing the songs. She also wrote the songs too.
That says a lot about Dale bozzio so many great artists have been lost to drug addiction it is a great day when you realize how valuable your family is we only have one shot at it. She is a great artist and it's good to see her so grounded because it could have went the other way. There are so many good mothers in this world and Dale is one
awesome! I heard Italian, Romanian, NJ accents in her voice. Anyway. It's really cool to hear a legendary rock performer talk about bigger things than fame and accomplishments. LOVE her for this~!
Honesty hurts ,but builds good standards to live by and great foundations to build on as well. She rocked back then in the 80's and she still does it right to this day. Incredibly beautiful and now I love her even more. . .it runs in the blood and you can see it in Lady Gaga
TJ Livedrums Wow, thanks a bunch. Although Terry wasnt in this particular line up, workin with Dale was a sure feather in my cap. After about the 5th show, she actually knew my name! I thought that was awesome! Take care, man.
She is adorable. I always felt a bit sorry for her band Missing Persons because they should have been a lot bigger in terms of being promoted and gaining traction.
I remember watching some show in the 70's and Missing Persons came on playing Life I So Strange and I saw Dale I was memorized. I froze in my boots. I looked up that all the band were my favorite ex- Frank Zappa band members and I Instantly knew it would be great. The whole band stood out. Dale was the centerpiece.
Hey, you from Boston ,baby? I took care of my son and others. My son was born when I was 18 and his mom 16! I delivered my son because we went to a ghetto hospital in South Los Angeles in 1984 ,and I literally pulled a mid wife out of the hallway and we delivered my son,me literally was the first to hold him. Anyway, she is right! And still beautiful!
I find it weird that people compare GAga's image to Dale's because Dale's fashion came from her own ideas and were home made. Gaga buys fashion from high-falutin European designers. Big difference.
God how I wish I still had the copy of Hustler with her in it. I was in the service when that came out and she went on a westpac cruise with us. And she's still just as cute as ever.
Dale is so awesome!!! She is the original rocker chick of the 80's. You can't even compare GaGa to her. That woman couldn't even come up with an original name. She had to steal it from Queen. Bozzio is top notch forever!
Evviva Dale Bozzio! Grazie! Bello sentire da te che sei italiana come noi tutti. Ed hai antenati Papi, addirittura. Grazie di cuore Dale: sii orgogliosa di essere itaaliana. Come noi tutti. Sempre. Grazie. Viva l'Italia Dale.
She is right, you got to take care of your children. Take time to spend time with them and be their friend. It makes a huge difference. Dale is a beautiful person, and this is a great interview.
What a great intimate interview! Dale's a great artist - one of my favorite singers of all time, and an inspiration. She stood up and took responsibility for the cat situation, by the way, which seems to have been an oversight. She clearly meant well but it seems more like she and those cats were ripped off. If she hired me for the job, those cats would have been very comfortable and happy. Zappa and the cryogenic popes - now that's a band name!
keep singing i so adore you! I knew you before gaga - you are DALE of MISSING PERSONS so ahead of time - timelessness - love GIVE rhyme and reason, love all the guys so much :) (y)
I've always loved Dale and have been fascinated by her. She is a music and culture icon. She is who she is and seems happy and incredibly sweet. The interviewer was obviously indulging her and was very respectful, but it got weird because you could tell he wanted to stay on topic about the music, but she totally went off the rails with the whole god and babies nonsense.
He asked what was most important to her. Babies might be a little bit more important than the music (understatement) and I LOVE the music. You got any kids, that you know of?
It's pretty amazing how she has always been this hot, famous, successful woman who could have had all the sex, drugs, and material/status objects that she wanted, but has still maintained self-discipline and real soulfulness throughout her life.
Though I didn't care much for 80's pop, I got hooked on Destination Unknown the first time I heard it. Dale B. is just a beautiful person all the way around.
Love the modified Medfuh MA accent and perspective. She has so much grit, gravitas and just massive talent. The brilliant front-woman of yet another fantastic new wave band snubbed by the Rock and Roll Hall of BS.
Wow, I'm watching Mental Hopscotch, then I click on this video, and I'm amazed at how much she changed. Yes, I know. It's called getting older. It just amazes me.
