Drag Week is the true test of a hotroding!!! The amount of carnage that I witnessed at only 2 tracks was unforgettable. Split oilpans, blown ring gears, broke steering box, bent rack&pinion, chewed up injector o-rings, Jeff Lutz had BAD issues almost every day but still rolled low 6's...

Jawz Gaming Putting nitrus in the Dale truck may sound nice but Dale hated nitrus as it was corrosive inside an engine. Nitrus makes sn engine unreliable in the long run. Putting nitrus in the Dale truck would be the ultimate form of disrespect you could fo.

Hey Cleetus. My dad is a big Dale Sr. fan, and I remember watching the race when he passed. I do dirt track racing, street stock last year and moving up to B-modified this year, and I respect what you do and the tingly feeling in your nads when you get over 120+ on the street. I just watched a vid on a NA ford motor that's built here in Australia that makes 924 HP/700+ torque on pump gas all day long and 974 on racing fuel I hope the ls7 you get is like that as that truck deserves it. DO IT FOR DALE!

To put nitrus in the Dale truck would be extremely disrespectful. Dale hated nitrus oxide for the damage it did to the inside of an engine. It would be a shame for you to do that to his truck.

It depends on your block construction and whether or not what kind of forged internals you have. Running nitrous can burn clean a lot of carbon in the cylinder

Dont use ls7 lifters, they like to make alot of noise with higher spring pressure. Use the Johnson ls7 replacements that TSP offers, they have a slower bleed down rate.

Texas speed offers a choice of either ls7 lifters as a base choice, or johnson slow bleed lifters for $340 extra... They dont make their own lifters...

Mister SS I have ls7 lifters as well, and my cam lift is .600 and my spring height is 1.850...when the oil gets hot the lifter under cylinder #7 starts clacking loud. They are brand new from texas speed.

Troy Brinkman I’m not sure what my Cam lift is set at but I’m glad I don’t get that, my lifters jus tick away sometimes. I had the whole top end rebuilt in my L98 cam and all. I’m sitting on about 450hp so I’m happy

Back when I had my 2000 crown vic p71, I lived in Phoenix and me and my friend jumped some train tracks doing 95. I believe there is a video on the tube but you can't see anything cause it's dark. Bottomed out times with sparks from the bottom of the straps to the gastank.

Put a n/a Proline engine in it. The Proline engines are basically bulletproof. And they make mad power any way you want it. N/A or turbocharged or pro charged. But a LS7 in that truck would be crazy. Considering how much the Dale truck weighs. Hell yeah brother
