Me too... I was like if bts tried it then i should do too... So i came here looking and i showed it to my mom for asking her permission to try this (i m not much of a cooker)... She surprisingly agreed because i think she thought that this wasnt much difficult but it was a mess when jimin and rm made it so i was afraid she wont allow but i think she just probably thought u should only whisk it so there wouldnt be any mess... Not so sure about reality though...lets see what happens after i make it....

@@Lifestyle8 Take a machine whisk with out machine and roll with hands for 2 min in mixture. Voila!

It took me 20min with a fork, 10 to 12min with a whisk and 3min with a handmixer so yeah if you don't have at least a whisk its just not worth it.

If you use an electric mixer on high speed it's actually really fast

If you want to reduce the time.. first add few drops of water and stir it will b hard to mix but the coffee will change its color in a mint or 2 then gradually add little amount of water until you get required consistency. It will take 5 mints and you are done.

Maybe BURNT is the wrong term for you attempting this because it did not involve cooking nor baking or anything that involves heat except for the hot water

You don't whisk the cream until it's stiff like that. I'm in Cyprus and it's really not quite the same.

@@MrSavvas015 When we make it, yeah we do shake the mix to be foamy, but not as much as when I make Dalgona, which is literally stiff. The Frappe cream can be easily poured out into a glass. Try that with Dalgona. It won't move. Also when you add water or milk to the Frappe, the two mix instantly. The whole thing is brown right away. It's one taste. With Dalgona, the stiff cream is always on top, so you can clearly see the milk below. When you take a sip of this coffee, you get two distinct things in your mouth which you clearly feel: the white milk and the stiff cream (it's almost like a caramel cream in structure). You have a gulp of clear milk with a bit of cream...you feel the two tastes separately and then mix them in the mount, whereas with Frappee, there is just one thing that you drink. Yes, frothy, but it's actually coffee that reaches your mouth. Argh, it's so difficult to describe...sorry for my blabbering...

the name comes from the word 달구나(dalgona) which means sweet so dalgona coffee means "sweet coffee"
