I’ve been rewatching dallas for a while and i don’t understand all the april bashing- the writers prob should have waited longer to pair bobby with april- it was prob too soon after pam leaving but bobby was hardly going to stay celibate forever - what i hated was bobby ending the show with NO ONE by his side- that was depressing - more depressing than april’s death- sheree wilson wasnt bad as far as the later cast additions- she was probably the best one out of james, cally and michelle and she’s very pretty and sexy in a normal understated way without wearing tons of makeup- plus she had spunk and humor which wasn’t really part of any females on the show besides lucy’s sarcasm- the one i didn’t like with bobby was that kaye- the senator from dc that bobby had a fling with- she was zzzzz to the max 😆
April was Bobby and Jr cousin Jack's wife. She somehow was able to get 10 percent of Jack's shares of Ewing Oil. She also slept with Jr and usually any woman that Jr sleeps with Bobby don't wanna mess with.
@@faithwatkins7811 she was i believe the only exception bobby made but april reformed her past and developed character and integrity and even stayed friends with cliff - which takes a lot patience 🤣
April. Michelle, James, and Cally did not belong on Dallas. The 1970' to mid 1980's episodes was the real Dallas. In the fall of 1987 Dallas went down hill. So sad.
I also agree with you on James and Cally, partially on Michelle, but April was a great addition to the show. She was beautiful, charming, intelligent, not 100% but also not stealing the show and she looked good by Bobby's side. Pam wasn't ever going to come back and in season 10, Pam was also no longer as strong a character as before the dream was revealed. When April was shot, there were no more serious women and good female actors on the show.
I didn't mind Michelle so much. She had spunk and was little diva type that works well in soaps. I couldn't stand April, and paring her with Bobby was awful. James and Cally were fairly goofy. If they had a different actor playing James, it would have worked better I think. The whole Cally storyline had no business on Dallas though.

Bobby's thoughts on women who slept with JR is something he had trouble with........... of course if you take JR out of it............. Bobby can't be that innocent to think any women he is interested in hasn't been in a past relationship before and slept with others.
Bobby knew Pam wasn't a virgin when he married her. Pam had a shady reputation and had even been with Ray Krebbs. Bobby wasn't looking for virgins, he just didn't want his brother's sloppy seconds.
@@robertscott8344 Yes this all before the show started. Pam dated Ray and yes they were intimate. Lucy even asked Ray if accidentally calls out Lucy's name when he's with Pam. Bobby knew Pam and Ray dated, he didn't know that Ray was his half brother. But that was the past. He and Pam fell in love and married. Bobby had a past too. He was with Jenna and other women.

I think a possible Ray and April pairing would have been better than him and Jenna or her and Bobby. I saw a RU-vid video of an interview Steve and Sheree did together in 1988. They were the only ones. It seemed odd to put them together, but it struck on a lost opportunity for a new couple to root for.
