Aaron, Great job on this video. I do agree that you need to be careful in that area flying since it is restricted airspace, your a hobbyist and I share your passion for Aerial Cinematography. As I stated below I don't agree with Sparky and his tactics. But, It is always good to fly safely. Happy Flying!
As long as he keeps it below the level of the highest buildings, then he won't get hit by a Southwest Airliner from Love Field. Airplanes can't fly as low as he was, so it's ok. He was well below the maximum permitted altitude.
He didn't break any FAA "laws" , FAA doesn't have or make laws, they have rules and regulations. Just saying. It is different than laws. They don't throw you in jail, instead they can issue fines to people, like a traffic ticket, but a whole lot more money.
For those hoping for a World Cup Dallas is short 700-1200 police officers. Police response times when accounted for accurately ( from moment 911 is dialed to officer arrive to help) in most cases is over an hour. Huge homeless panhandler issue all over Dallas that has been made worse by the bike share. Be careful when shopping and doing business in Dallas!

Have you seen all the homeless camps along the freeway? Have you seen the panhandlers in the middle of traffic on I30 and 175/45? Just spending time in only the beautiful parts of the city doesn’t mean the whole city smells like roses. Drive to West dallas past the new bridge you’ll see the walking zombie like drug users living on the empty lots, drive through the alley ways in uptown and you’ll see the homeless sleeping there one can hardly take out the trash. The robberies going on in the oaklawn area blocks away from highland park?
Chris_In_Dallas , I travel to Mexico often. Only place I have ever been robbed at gun point has been in uptown Dallas! If you think that there are no cartel related executions here in Dallas you are highly naive. If you think there are no drug related kidnappings I’ve got news for you. Child abductions and executions related to drugs yup they happen!
Hines Victor tower 39 stories U/C now; another called Hardwood 12 should be ~40 stories should get underway too. Both in Uptown. Cityplace tower may also get some ~40 story company soon too. Seems 35-40+ stories is becoming the new normal now.

Please pursue a Remote sUAS rating through a reputable school and learn how not to act while at the controls. * Flying over roads and highways without a FAA approved waiver (Endangered the motorists). * Flying to close to the DAL glide path (Endangers manned aircraft). * Flying over private property without owners consent. * Flying VLOS, then loosing VLOS, then continuing under BLOS (your twitchy rotations gave you away). * sUAS altitude is limited to 400' AGL unless permitted and/or waived. You reached near 450'. * Did you attain a permit to film from the CoD? Posting on RU-vid qualifies you as a commercial enterprise. Oh, this means you also qualify for FAA part 107 requirement. * Failure to check sectional SDAL prior to flight to gain information crucial for flight planning. Again, go to school. * Failure to check NOTAMS, METARS, TAFS, or at the very least, the FAA app B4UFLY! * Did you call DAL tower to inform them of your pending flight? I'm sure the North Texas FSDO could add to the list of violations during the investigation and enforcement phase of your post flight experience. Look up all these acronyms and learn to fly safely.
