You're right. He is really awkward. Maybe a bit too nervous and a bit like he doesn't care. I don't know how to explain this.

I couldn't possibly agree more. It has always bothered me that was left so open ended. It would probably confuse a lot of newer viewers a bit, but it would be a completely compelling and worthwhile avenue to explore, even if people have to learn a little about Doctor Who history. And as he says, is she REALLY his grand daughter? Is she a TimeLord? Heck... if they met up, would he even pick her up the next day after he left her, like nothing happened, even though he is like 1,000+ years older and has a new face (or 11) (would she think he got just a bit younger than the Grandfather she knew, not realizing at first just how young he appeared in between)? Did Ian, hopefully, meet some horrible end (I never liked Ian)? Might she be a few regenerations along? There's so many ways to take that idea. Actually, the most exciting thing is that we have a lifelong Doctor Who fan as the Doctor AND we have a new writer coming in, who could be influenced into exploring just such ripe territory. Anyway, we can hope, and I'm glad there are others that are on board the idea with us (me, my wife, and Peter, to name the fewest I can).

This was a special ticketed event, so yes, it was only once they were all on stage here. (From their own volition, don't expect to see a recording of a Fan Expo event like this again... except for one of Mark Hamill I've been holding onto... and will probably release before long...)

In a manner of speaking, Clara is not dead (yet), but she will have to go to Gallifrey and have the Time Lords place her back to the moment she died in Face the Raven.

I really doubt Clara will be saved in this years Christmas Special. I think she'll be there to say her goodbye to Capaldi's Doctor.

He isn't. First in the UK that doesn't mean the same thing (do the V-for-Victory sign but with the back of the hand facing out and that's the middle-finger gesture in the UK). Lots of people just automatically use their middle finger for scratching or what have you if their index finger is holding something (like a mic in this case). My dad does it all the time. It's completely unconscious.

there is nothing, you're jealous because you weren't there. I was like that too, but I had so much fun that I didn't even care in the end.

I thought that Moffat's writing was really strong (with many aspects thought out long, long in advance) and Matt and Peter were very good actors and good in their roles. But Chibnall... He's killed even this show's legacy... Doctor Who isn't a question that was supposed to be answered (especially this way)!

@@jtzoonie2552 Yeah, the fact that the Doctor became female technically wasn't the problem (but really, they could/should have just developed an original female timelord character with a good enough story to form a spinoff and made twice the bank), terribly bad AND politically driven stories were the ultimate downfall. And I don't mean that lightly, it would take a miracle for the show to recover at this point, or at least some really hard, dedicated work toward improving (and retconning out the origin "twist")...
