There were two games last season that really put a smile on my face. The first was when we upset LA who happened to be the defending Super Bowl champions, the other one happen to be when we beat Tom Brady in Wild Card round and finally sent his ass into retirement
My favorite was the last game against Washington They cemented the fact that they’re not a championship franchise or team Rush clearly a starting QB and maybe better for Dallas than the over hyped grossly overpaid starter / who btw is a crier / 100% he’ll fail again in the playoffs this year
Dallas shouldn't had loss to Jaguars & Packers, lopsided officiating in those games, really they should have had a 14-3 record, which would've given them that number 1 seed.
Man I was thinking the same thing after watching for the umpteenth time...Washington game was BS too not the refs but we just didn't show up...could have been 15 and 2! Oh well ...we got the chip on our shoulder ...we addressed WR DT TE CB and kept continuity at almost every position (atleast the ones we were happy with) You know Mike been wanting to call plays and now he's got his guy w him to do it. Definitely a prove it year for Mike and Dak so hopefully they both have that 🔥 under them. DQ (lord willing) will have us #1 in take aways for a 3rd straight season and I'm sure he's been eyeing what went wrong when it did go wrong last year...he's got the same guys w some added firepower ...they gonna be on POINT 👉 this year! I think the silly things that cost us 3 games last year...Packers Jags and 9rs won't haunt us this year! It's finally time! 💯
@@claytongodfrey202 Very well said & I couldn’t agree more, those two losses against the Packers & Jaguars hurt bad, we had both those games in the bag, until tipped/dropped passes. I’m stoked about our defense & really hope Mazi Smith contributes in a solid manner this year stopping the run!! I will always miss Zeke & will worry about pass protection until they prove me wrong w/out him in the backfield picking up blitzes. His numbers only went below 4 yards per carry after we lost Terence Steel, plus he was asked to pick up only one yard several times at the goal line & in several 3rd & 1 situations. Gotta hope Rico Dowdle can stay healthy & hold on to the rock, & produce when Pollard isn’t out there.. And hopefully DV can produce some magic, need to see it before I’m convinced.. Go Cowboys!!
I’m glad Noah Brown got a contract, even if it’s not with us. He stepped up more last year than most people I think realize. And I saw way more highlights with Furgeson and Hendershot than Schultz.😂
I do not understand why Turpin cuts back inside, he could have had atleast 5 TD returns! Watched the playoff game against the 49 era he should have scored, but he cut back into the inside
He’s clearly not the best FB as he’s not even in the game. That said last year he was easily the most overpaid RB in the league. He should have been cut a couple years ago. Glad he’s off the payrole
Dak almost single-handedly lost the 9ers game. Multiple interceptions, multiple missed throws to wide open relievers that would have scored and multiple missed reads where he didn’t see wide open receivers. He needs to get much better if the Cowboys are going to have chance of getting to a SB. After seven years of tape, I’m doubtful he can do it.
I agree he had a bad game & has had several bad games. I’ve also seen several good games. I argued for several years w/a fellow Cowboys fan during his first few years that he’s not even close to being better than Romo & I didn’t believe in Dak. All that being said, I’m rooting for him to get over the hump & get it done! Am I still worried he can’t, yes.. Also, I think had they allowed Romo to come back in 2016 after he got healthy, had an awesome o-line & Zekes rookie year, Romo could’ve finally got us to the finish line, Dak made mistakes in the playoff game against Green Bay & Rodgers did Arron Rodgers things, & Crosby booted a couple 50+ FG’s to crush us. But when Romo got to play a series late in the season he schooled Dak up per the long pass & completes a 75 yard bomb to Terrence Williams, he still had it. I know, lots of haters out there about Romo, I just felt he was still the better QB at the time, we’ll never know now which sucks.
Zeke is completely washed. You don’t waste a roster spot for a guy to make 1 yard runs. Pollard would have had those runs too and he wold have made several when Zeke got stuffed at the line. Getting rid of Zeke the right move, except it should have been done a year or two earlier
Was amazing with rush in how they ran the ball and were successful and then dak comes back and kellen changes up and treats dak like mahomes and they lose very easy win games if they just ran the ball when the defense couldn't stop the run to begin with. Greenbay game is a great example of that.
This team really overachieved and Dak was lights out considering their lack of offensive talent...I think Jerry wanted to rebuild but between Quinn Parsons and Dak they're an automatic 12 win team now because Dak can win with anyone...first time he gets an above average Oline and receivers at the same hes winning a Superbowl like Peyton Manning
For all the BS narrative around Gallup...Announcers sure had his name in their mouth quite a bit...Man I cant wait for this season! Dear Lord Please keep all the players on the field healthy for the entire season! All the players but especially Dallas players 😅🎉 AMEN 🙏 🙌
15:11 on video, he says," Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady are the leader of this team"! I think he has his teams mixed up, because neither are on either of these teams playing... WTF?
