Christopher was the sweetest kid and probably had an IQ in the genius range, and I noticed that long before the TNT version of Dallas was made and he and John Ross were all grown up. He couldn't have picked a better father (not Jeff Faraday)
Christopher was a well mannered kid and did not have the stuck up ego that other Ewings had such as Lucy and John Ross. It's awful how nice people are dealt with blows like this in their lives.
I understand why Victoria left the show but for them to put her in the car accident was not the best way for her to exit the show So sad for Bobby and Chris
And to me what made it worse was it happened right after Christopher found out he was adopted no wonder at first when she left the hospital he thought it was cause of him poor kid.
It was the same with me when my Grandma Hlad had her heart surgery. I couldn't go see her in her hospital room at Lewis County General Hospital, so she was brought down to the lobby area so we could visit.
I felt so sad for the little boy. I know it's acting but even so. He found out he was adopted by his step brother then the mama he grew close to leaves him and he loses her. How must he have felt.. Well, we saw how felt. Great acting kid.
The re cast for Miss Ellie was received so poorly, I think they were too scared to try it with Pam. The actress they found to play Pam later completely nailed it. I wish they would have brought her bavk
If I was in car accident with injuries Bobby was my husband in this clip we had a daughter together she asked him daddy why can’t I see mommy right now he says honey mommy got hurt the doctors are fixing her up so she can come back home with us our daughter Kayla says daddy I am going to make a sign and card for mommy when she comes back home, he says she will love that. Bobby comes to the hospital to visit me we were talking he tells me that our daughter Kayla can’t wait for me to come home my doctor came in saying to us I am starting to make a lot of progress in my healing my injuries the doctor asked me how my right arm and left leg feel I say it still hurts but the pain is not so bad as before, my doctor says another two weeks u can go home but I have to have physical therapy on my leg to regain strength to be able to walk properly again. Bobby and I were so happy that I was going home to him and Kayla plus Ms Ellie Clayton rest of the family soon.
I really wish the writers would've let Pam and Bobby have a baby for themselves. She told Bobby she could carry a baby full term then sadly their dreams were shattered. Bobby and Christopher weren't the same after she mysteriously disappeared.
Even though Pam wasn't a true Barnes by blood, I always interpreted it to mean that a Ewing & Barnes just weren't meant to reproduce...or even be together long term. A karmic sort of deal, sad as it was.
I know and even though their relationship with Christopher is amazing I really wish they did have a baby of their own in the earlier seasons right before Christopher maybe their marriage would’ve stayed together.
Keep in mind two things . She had Severe burns from the car crash , and two , She probably just found out about her cancer . So put yourself in her shoes . How do you face your son and Husband after all that knowing you don't have long to live , ( Least that's that she was told anyway ) John Ross died in 2014 in a Car explosion Explain the qoincidence . Oh, and where has Mark Grayson been all those years ... think about that !!!!!!
Pamela thought her injuries from the third degree burns would scare Christopher. Pamela never gave her son, & Bobby a chance to help her through her surgeries.
Victoria Principal wanted out of.the series. This is the way the writers chose to kill her off. She states in an interview I heard that they kept asking her to come back for two years. She was upset they dragged it out and mislead the fans. Wasnt her doing to abandon Christpher and Bobby.
