Tru Dat. It was event tv not just in America but worldwide. It was the last prime time television show that literally stopped the world. Now, I don't even know what's happening, I have not own a T.V. for almost 15 years. Nothing is worth watching.
I remember Larry Hagman and the others talk about their fight scenes. Larry always said he went limp while Patrick, Steve, Howard and Ken went all in and Patrick replied: "And that's why we all have bad knees and he doesn't."
Don’t mess with Bobby. He’s fast as lightning and has an adrenalized temper. Ray is right there with him. Bobby should have bashed Tommy’s brains completely out for what he did to April. Sadly, enough she was machine gunned down. Can’t remember why. I think Tommy was so high on drugs his Dad shot him to death. JR and Cliff couldn’t fight. They hid under tables. Lol. Jock could probably take them all out!!!

There was one more fight, It was actually in the first season of Dallas, when Sue Ellen went to a bar (this when she really started drinking) and J.R., Bobby, Ray found her there and got into a fist fight with a guy that was picking up on her and a few of the patrons. It was really a good fight, and I think Dallas ratings went up after that episode.
i think my fave line is when jr walks up in the first clip of jr walking up to sue ellen and cliffe danceing, sue ellen :oooh lord perfect reaction of the ewin and barnes fued
In the past, both Larry and Patrick have said they didn't really like the term "soap opera" because the show was more so geared towards men, whereas Dynasty & Knots Landing were geared more towards women.
@@mfjdv2020 I assume because Dallas male stars(Larry and Patrick) carried the show more and dealt with work business, etc., while Dynasty was more lead by Linda and Joan and Knots by Michele, Joan and Donna.
That fight between JR and Ray was brutal. Years of pent-up resentment on Ray's part at JR's condescension, and JR never fully considered him a Ewing, but a half-breed interloper.
Love Dallas, but I caught a blunder at 3:58 This scene was shot in Culver City (the fake Southfork) Watch the whole entire prop-wall move when Krebbs and JR bump it - LOL! Oh well...they get a free pass, this show is ICONIC!
Dallas had these fights which were fun. What made Dynasty's catfights even more fun was the fact that you had women going at it they way men usually did. Great video!
True. But JR is crafty with that with that back-elbow. And he knocked-out Ray in that fight when the fire started. I loved it when he tripped Clayton all the way down the stairs and knocked him out LOL (not in this clip). And dang, he threw Pierce off of a skyscraper lol.
This is Texas in the 1980s, yet no one ever has a gun on them. You would think that JR would at least carry a gun on him, as well as some brass knuckles, given how often someone wishes to do him bodily harm...
I think JR was the only one with a toupee. Think of the glue they used on him. It had to withstand the pool, wind, and mosquitoes! 😂 I loved the camping scene with JR on his cot and under the mosquito net!
Bobby was drowning his sorrows in booze because his old lady left him. He didn't need the old barfly or the "mongoose faced" guy bothering him. But they pissed him off and he was like, Dude, you want a fight I'll give you one, and beat the shit out of him. He would have beat him worse if Ray had not got there. I hope the guy thought the broad at the bar was worth it! His attempt to be a macho man failed. Tom Morga and Duffy might have had fun filming this scene, he was Duffy's stunt double in Man from Atlantis.
Stuntman and actor Tom Morga Is Jason Voorhees in part 5. The “imposter”-Jason the ambulance driver Roy is played by Dick Wieand. As we all know, it’s Roy and not Jason who’s the real killer in part 5.
From what I have read about the jokers and pranksters on that set, I'll bet they were all laughing like hell filming these scenes; especially Hagman and Duffy.

You're right 'The gigolo' was Nicholas Pearce. JR loved to insult Sue Ellen's boyfriend's. Nicholas Pearce was the Gigolo. Dusty Farlow his step brother was a saddle tramp plus s cripple and impotent (which JR mocked him about). JR called him a Jaffa. Cliff Barnes was a nitwit and a termite.
Ohhhhhh theres SOOOO many MISSING! The fight in Landown at the Bar tops all of them; or when Krebbs catches JR with Garnett McGee! Beats ol JR within an inch of his LIFE in a foreman ranch cabin!
Always loved having the pool there, you always knew someone would get thrown in. The Oil Barrens Ball always had a fight. They were fantastic. Grown men acting like children………..
At about 11:23 April Stevens opens the door hoping that it would be her boyfriend, Bobby Ewing, but upon opening the door she sees Tommy McKay and he demands that she pays him $65,000 dollars. Bobby Ewing goes to her aid and asks her "who did this to you?" She replied Tommy McKay and the next day he goes to the McKay house and beats Tommy McKay and then Carter McKay goes to the hospital and pushes Bobby against the door and Bobby asks Carter McKay "Do you want to go in and see what your boy did to April?" Mar. 5, 2020 @ 1:20 am.
