When I was about 18 years old I got Wes' Hands On album and actually used to email back and forth with him. He's a super down to earth and encouraging guy. I sent an email to the address in the cover and he personally responded. Really cool. He would give me tips on Tube Screamers and things like that.

Nik is basically the coolest.

This is just to give me an idea of what a reasonable offer would be for the age of guitar that needs work and has smaller issues, ie a refret etc. Thanks for the vid.

What was that fuzz used when Nik was playing JD’s Guitar?

If you think seeing Stevie's grave is powerful then just imagine what it will be like if you're saved through the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ and are brought to Heaven where you can meet him personally! If Mrs. Vaughan knew her sons then both Stevie Ray and Jimmie are saved Christians. So, one day I'll meet them in Heaven and hopefully, you will too! And I'm heckin' excited! Right now it's a safe bet that Stevie is up there enjoying his eternity of peace with our God. No addictions, no pain, no heartache, just contentment, and joy! Hopefully, he's had the chance to jam with all the other saved bluesman too! Luckily back in the day Christianity wasn't so heavily attacked so it's a safe bet that a lot of them are up there.

Coool. I foolishly passed up the chance to meet JD recently when he was supporting Tommy E. A mutual friend does Tommy and JD's merch at the UK gigs. I'd passed on a 5 hr drive because I'd bought tickets to go see him at the Flower Pot a couple of weeks later in March but he subsequently had to cancel his UK tour prematurely. Was gutted! Hoping he's back over here later in the year.. ! Very jelly you got to strum some chords on that 335, dude. :) How was it??
