E.g. last year he would have spammed 3s constantly, even though they're not falling a night. Now hes playing even more mature. But what impresses me the most, is his defense. Im observing that a lot. This game THJ again was terrible, but the rest of the team did great. I have seen so many important blocks and steals from Luka in 4th quarter this year. @@juwanharris5425 Watch the Mavs/Suns playoff series from 2022 and you'll understand. The Suns were up 3-2 after game 5... and then the Suns star players ran their mouth. Luka took it personally saying: "everybody acting tough when they up" as he walked off the court in game 5. The Mavs led by Luka proceeded to tie the series up in Dallas winning game 6 decisively by 27 pts. Then they went to Phoenix for game 7... and absolutely dominated the Suns start to finish. Luka ended the game with 35/10/5 while the Sun's "big three" (Booker/CP3/Ayton) put up a pathetic 26 points combined and lost the game 123-90.

(Embiid and Jokic can hide) -Luka is 5+ years younger than his co contenders What exactly do you want me to look at. All I see is Luka being the clear mvp. They have been missing most of their starter team for weeks now and they are still roaming around top 5 in a harder more equal western conference.

I'd have to look at all the stats to tell you exactly which year he would've been the closest, but the man has been averaging near triple doubles consistently. But yeah I agree, probably has been edged out by others legitemately before, but he imo he should be in the conversation almost every year. I guess I'm also biased because I just really like to watch his play style a lot more than let's say an Embid or a Jokic for that matter.

He tried to take over by hitting a 3 and a pull up jumper to put Phoenix back in it. He purposely tried not to get involved by only taking 11 shots but starting the game with 2 back to back buckets. I see how he feel when your team give up easy points but you gotta work harder on offense while getting double teamed

What Marlon said is correct. He needs to adapt leadership. MJ and Kobe would have players straighten out in practice by being a player coach. They will both sit on the sidelines during 5 v 5 scrimmage and stop the game if anything out of place on both ends and watch film constantly. KD needs to do that. You gotta build the foundation first
