Stop tryna make the bible belt look hood bc that's not realistic 💯life is sweet in the south that's why I moved here and brought my daughter with me FACTS I'm from Milwaukee where it's too cold and crowded for MFS not to be demons and I rather deal with these bible belt gangsters than to deal with them cold blooded killers in the Murda Mil 💯
Pleasant Grove used to be a decent, working-class part of Dallas, when I was young and we visited people my family knew. That was back when working people could make a living.
@@rockym2931 working people can make a better living now than ever (sans the current inflation). Maybe you should say back when people WOULD work. It's only a fact and it's a harsh fact.
I spent years in these neighborhoods doing community outreach and they aren't usually dangerous. The people are friendly, just trying to get by like everyone else. Yeah bad things sometimes happen but that's true in a lot of areas of Dallas.
The problem, is that poverty a lot of times breeds poverty. And those that put and keep the system in place know that. If one knows that something isnt real, they are not to generally concerned about. Only when one knows something is real and the exposure of said reality would most likely cause a fire storm. CRT is real.
@@fluffymittens24 it doesn't matter who you are, the minute you start pumping out kids you can't afford then YOU are the shitty system your kids have to suffer through. EVERYONE makes their own choices about what to do with your genitals. In NYC, more black babies are aborted than given birth to thank God
Born and raised in Dtown . South Dallas and the east are not the most dangerous hoods. Some stuff may look that way , but there fixing south dallas up and cleaning the streets but never dangerous. Life is what you make it ,robbing ,killing ,stealing, or drugs ...depends on the person not the location! My family from south Dallas .
All that fixing, cleaning the streets up is nothing but gentrification. And Statistcially ye Ls it is the most Dangerous Hood in Dallas. The vast majority of homocides in Dalals come from South Dallas
He just driving around and calling it dangerous by the looks. I live in SOC and so what it it look Roguish people look out for one another. Go to North Dallas where it looks nicer yet crime rate is higher then South Oakcliff and South Dallas. But you just driven pin pointen. Chances are you ain't even from here.
The only thing I saw dangerous was “YOU” driving down a residential street like a bat 🦇 out of hell. Everyone else was just minding their business and enjoying their life.
LMAO It is strange that every area of a town that he happens to visiting is for some reason the most dangerous. Slow your roll Charlie, slow your roll. lol
South Dallas is really chill and much love. Now if you go over there on that gangsta ish, that's when it gets dangerous. That's why the South has such a bad rep. Dudes go over there thinking it's soft and end up on a T-shirt.
This definitely true I met some of the nicest and genuine people in the south . Long as you not on no bullshit you don't gotta worry about nobody bothering you.
I know you're spending a grip in gas money but thanks for the videos! If I ever see that 2-tone car hood in my neighborhood, I'll know it's you...lol. 313 for life!
I live in North Dallas, I go to South Dallas here and there and met some of the nicest downhome people in the world. Never had a problem there. I like to visit RL Blues Palace. Lots of good live blues. It's also the oldest section of Dallas.
I live here and Ion like it im trying to move from SD asap cuz it ain't for me too much shooting and pan handlers and crackheads everywhere and the people are weird and rude and constantly running red lights. They got a few good food places tho. I like Southside steaks n cakes and big daddy's.
South Dallas was once a Jewish banking community, years ago. They moved and the money went to. You have to understand the history, economics and politics of a place to understand the what and how. South Dallas. i.e the state Fair of Texas is and will be prime real estate soon as it's adjunct to downtown Dallas.
@@kimberlybrown8114 I didn’t even know it until a coach told me on my podcast, I can see it tho since it’s like the entertainment hub of the city, or it was in a way.
I’m 62 my grandmother owned juke joints on MLK I was born in her home with a family Doctor there. They tore it down to put in parts of I-35 she had money. My father was in the military so I never lived there until later in life. I needed temporary affordable residence in 2005. Ended up in a townhouse off of Lake June in Pleasant Grove. If I tell you I saw things that I’d never seen before in my life!!! Fortunate for me I had connections in SOC, but the people were basically friendly and took care of their own just like in any hood in America. But I was in the trenches of PG, and I came in late night early mornings after partying and was pretty safe. I signed the lease in the daytime, chile I rode through at night and I thought I’d taken the wrong exit 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I had this same thought. I think for the intellectually deficient, they see this as a badge of "toughness". As though their living there and surviving means possess a fortitude worth bragging about. Never mind that this toxic subculture has no need to even exist.
Who’s bragging? If you mean things you’ve heard, it’s more about the things they do with their friends, I doubt anyone is happy about the cockroaches in our apartments. That we don’t mention.
When people think Dallas, they think the Rich suburban Sprawl of mansions and Malls of Frisco, Plano, Allen, Irving, etc. then You get into the City of Dallas and all that changes
In the city of Dallas there are miles of million dollar homes too. More expensive than any of those northern suburbs. Many of the hoods are changing too. For decades West Dallas was one of the worst areas in the country. 10 years ago West Dallas had houses renting for $400. Those homes are now being replaced by houses that sell for up to $950k. A large portion of Oak Cliff is pretty decent now too.
@@ostentatioussavant6975 Large prortion of Oakcliff? Not even hardly. Bishops arts is okay but Oakcliff? Nah. Oakcliff makes up 50% of the murders in Dallas
@@TheAnomics1 Bishops Arts isn't even the nicest part of Oak Cliff. Kessler Park is. The only part of Oak Cliff that is really bad is South Oak Cliff. If you think the other parts of Oak Cliff are bad then you probably never been in West Dallas back in the day, or South Dallas or NW Dallas, or East Dallas, etc etc etc
@@ostentatioussavant6975 South and East OakCliff are the worst. West Dallas and East and North East and Midtown were all bad aswell, but 7/10 murders always came out of OakCliff. And before gentrification plagued Oakcliff The bishops area was amongst the worst
Dallas is turning into India fast. Statues of Ghandi & parks being named after him & other Indian Gurus. I'm not even recognizing the groceries in the store anymore. 5 Indian grocery stores within a mile of me & 100s of Indian businesses & Bizarres. DALLAS has died and left the building. Next will be no BEEF consumption
I dont live there. But when i want to get back to my people. And relax, i go to south dallas. I may stop at Catfish Smith, Good luck on 2nd ave, or get some bbq from a rolling smoker. Its always chill. Most of the crazy shit happens in deep ellum or the grove.
What dude it’s literally statistically one of the most dangerous places not just in Dallas but the country that’s the reason the feds raided ParkRow some months back
You must be smoking that cheap stuff...people think empty streets is a sign of nothing going on, please just the opposite...new don't broadcast every body found
Well what you consider dangerous and what I consider dangerous are two different things. And I don’t smoke anything, I just know y’all haven’t been to a real hood!
Don’t let this video fool you. This is a very small area of Dallas and gets a large amount of homicides. Atleast 30-40 homicides a year and you can drive thru whole area in like 4 minutes…
I've lived in Oak Cliff for 50+years I don't know what the cool word is for it today but shit can go from nothing to shooting in a heartbeat. Hood Deep Elm Uptown anywhere someone has a Beef folks start yelling I start moving in the other direction.
Stop capping g...maybe 10 yrs ago..but even than..little drug deals here and there and little homeless dont make it dangerous bro..its getting cleaned up
@@mellowvalentine9354 deep ellum gets shot up every weekend really now? Where in the gay bars man? Bothing but fucking homeless Dont buy dope than bro..and this aunt no detriot no chiraq...thats all im saying...yall making it seem like dallas is a freaking murder city...
People be hating on Dallas hoods like it aint "hood". But you never see them in a Dallas hood talking sheit. How about that? Always on the outskirts Carrollton, Plano, Lewisville type ish being freindly. Then they leave and crack on our culture and try to steal some at the same time. Dallas has some of the most genuine ppl in America the realest and most loyal...(If yk a Dallas Cowboys fan from Dallas then yk) And we'll come to your city stand onnat and rep that. Beef witit
They just don't know...it's one thing to drive by and keep on going and it's another thing to try to hang around and get into things. Thats when you will see you done got yourself into something you wish you hadn't.
I can't believe people would be offended at someone saying their hood isn't hood enough. If I live in the hood and someone said that it's not that hood then I would be like THANK YOU! :-)
Never got to c this side of dallas while I was there but it's overall a beautiful city and definitely look better than houston jacksonville florida was here
I grew up and live in the Dallas area, back in the day you wouldn't want to go south of the tracks on Dolphin rd unless you lived in that community or had family there. Cops didn't even want to go in there without half the dept going. I don't know how it is now.
I’m from Dallas and moved to Denver and I’m so much happier here. Living in the south is rough. People are nicer in Denver and happier, but I’m glad the south made me the resilient person I am today.
I once visited Dallas because my cousin lived there. He took me and my father around the north side of Dallas which was a very nice area. I was told that many blacks live in the south side of Dallas, but I never visited there because my visitation was too tight. I only went to the JFK Museum, to picture the old Cowboys stadium, the Stockyard in Fort Worth, and a few others. Actually my father and I flew nonstop from Phoenix to visit my cousin in Dallas and a week later we flew back home to Rochester, NY. We were supposed to drive down to Houston for one night, to drive San Antonio for one night, and then to drive to Austin for one night prior to driving back to Dallas, but we didn’t make it because I was sick for 2 days. Actually the weather in Phoenix (plus Tucson) was very warm in the 90’s in April and a few days later we flew to Dallas when the weather was nice, but next day it was very chilly and damp and that is how I had a cold. My cousin took me to his doctor’s office and my father was about to pay, but my cousin paid. We then went to the store to pick up a RX medicine for a cold and my father was supposed to pay for it, but my cousin paid. Yes, it was nice of my cousin. Oh well….
After reading your comment I had to go back and watch it and yeah I saw that. I believe it was because he was trying to eat something out that sack. She's lucky he didn't start chasing her.
i first lived in south dallas in the malcolm x area😭😭 then moved to balch springs then oak cliff and pleasant grove around the corner from the mcdonalds and williams chicken😭😭
Bruh that's so false lmao. I family in England and visit every year. Most of it is beautiful and quaint to an American perspective. The big cities like London, Birmingham, etc. do have so major shithole areas though.
She threw something at it, and the cat turned around and probably hissed which is what scared her and caused her to scream and run. Just another idiot.
You failed to mention what neighborhood and zip code. Dallas is a large city and has plentyof decentneighborhoods. This must be south Dallas or the Fair Park area?
idk why but Texas Hoods dont even feel dangerous or threatening compared to other areas. Maybe cuz its located next to Mexico which has a huge drug war goin on so Texas feels less threatening. But congrats to u Charlie i still know i wont survive here
It's the Bible belt, we're not scared of South Dallas. Everyone from North Dallas to Oak Cliff got fam in the so called hood. Our grandmother's don't leave their hood and you bet not mess with them.
You went on 42/lenway, then went over off second Ave back in then houses which is considered a Dixon area. Then I think you went on the other side of MLK where all them tents was at. Oh yeah, you kinda went on the back side of 44 when you passed that store on myrtle. You must know somebody in the south. Some of those places you just not gone know to go to🤣🤣
